@@chrystald. very cool. Yes I will be expecting lots of hiccups and curse words since I have never used a CNC before. Have you ever had a CNC before the Onefinity. What software are you using? Nice demo. I'm also awaiting my OneFinity. I currently use a different brand cnc.
VCarve is great software and this coming from someone who used a $10K professional CAD system till I retired. You should try using 3D tabs (1 check box in the tab area), and smooth your lines (Curve Fit icon) which will smooth the lines which condenses the gcode and allows the cnc to run smoother & faster because there are less points.

Awesome work. So I am really considering on purchasing a Onefinity CNC as my very first CNC. One of my current woodworking projects that I do consistently is I make wooden American flags. I like to make each individual stripe with extra definition by using a round over bit on each side. Will a CNC be able to engrave my assembled American flags with the rounded over edges on each stripe or will this be an issue?
    Thank you

Your video's are beyond reproach ... so I'll ask you. I'm about to retire and the boss told me to have a plan, so I'm going to fire up my life long hobby of wood working and make some money on the side. I'm ready to order a Onefinity with several of the bells and whistles. Given that I'm a CNC Newb but relatively computer literate, what direction would you suggest I start looking for software? I want to be able to carve stars on wooden flags as well as make plaques for my Boy Scout Troop ... and whatever else come my way. Thanks for all you do!!

    • @MyersWoodshop

the Rii 'control pad' is NOT a controller, its a keyboard. The jog on the onefinity actually uses a "gamepad' so they are different.
