What is it about that MD/VA/PA area that holds so much??? Guess I should include WV in that cluster of haunted land. I’m so homesick.
Ha that’s a great idea! I’m dying to know what area! You could always delete it lol. My 1st haunted house was a Victorian in Falls Church, VA. But on the other hand, there are places I wouldn’t name (especially public spots) because I don’t want swarms of people going there to “hunt.” Don’t even like the term! I suspect (but obviously don’t know at all!) that too many people-crowds-chase the phenomenon off/destroy it/ or something, I don’t know. But seems to be what is happening in St. Augustine.
@@lsusanna3 yeah Saint Augustine is way too overpriced and overrated. One night may not cut it looking for activity. I was at the Ann Stevens house 3 different times and the last day was when it let us film the activity. On the other hand if you take a 5 minute walk to the Devils chair it gave us activity right away by debunking the Devil being there. Seems like that would be the only time anything in that graveyard would reach out. After that every time we were there we got nothing. Ike that wanted to tell us the truth then left us a lone. Personal experiences at the Ann Stevens house started on day one but was very hard to catch on camera till the last day. You should check that place out. I left a book behind for people to write their experiences down if they like. It is definitely occupied by things unseen.
@PhantomOfFlorida-cv3gn WOW that house is *gorgeous*!!! I’d go for that reason alone! And that’s been the times I’ve experienced things-when I was exploring & not looking for anything. Thanks for alerting me to it; usually I get on 4 with the aim to get off it, probably because I truly dread Orlando traffic. I’ll drop a note here if I go! Although it won’t be until the weather cools…in like 10 months ☹️ or if I have to evacuate lol. Going to be a bad year, hopefully the nina will keep them out at sea again. I miss history in this way too modern state. St Augustine, you can *feel* it if you can get away from the crowds-rainy nights are best but now crime is a problem. Never seen or heard anything, although did have a tv in a b & b that kept turning itself on, lol.

I often find myself tempted to write a letter to my old address where I grew up and ask them if it’s still haunted. Maybe someday I will.
