I loved getting my analysis in the 80’s. I’m a True Exquisite Summer! The palette came with colors that bring out your hair, eye and skin color. Neutrals that were good, a metallic, and whites as well as a rainbow palette was so fun to shop with. It’s true to this day!
Trends come and go and the color analysis was such a blast! Being a TV host has its challenges too.I am so surprised that only a few on Canadian daytime shows are stylish,tasteful and on trend.The long ringlets and long pointed nails need to go especially when you are on live TV.
Ok but the TV presenter said that she shines in bright colours as opposed to muted and then the colour expert goes on to confirm that by showing her some autumn colours that don't look good on her, only to then tell her that she's essentially an autumn?! Autumn colours are not bright and the colours she showed her before were autumn colours, like how... if the bright colours make her features pop then I suppose she might be a winter. It was very confusing.
If she looks good in black, and the muted brown colours mutes her out. Then she is winter. That technic of checking the colour of the veins doesn't work with many skin colours.
So from what I understood autumn colours are considered as bright/vibrant colours, as well as the winter palette. Whereas the summer and spring palette are considered as soft colours.
you could see she was cool the moment the 'expert' put up the chocolate and oatmeal colour to her. It was so obvious she was cool. And the fact the 'expert' got them to check veins shows me she isn't an expert. lmao.
This expert was rough. I think the host is likely some type of spring because of her warmth and brightness of her skin tone and level of contrast with her hair, and how good the vibrant colours look on her. But winter colours would likely be far too dark and drag her down.
“She’s a summer because she has the light with the cool”. Huh? Sorry but the “expert” did a very poor job explaining the basics. She made a relatively simple concept sound very complicated. The host was totally clueless and we still have no idea what season she ended up being!😅
I remember the color/season idea. I’ve gone from a medium ash brown to almost totally white. I really need a makeover. I have no clue what style or colors I should wear. I definitely don’t want to look old and frumpy 👵🏼
Veins are irrelevant so ignore them. Hair color shouldn't affect your best colors except in specific cases. I am a true Spring but my hair is now white. I still wear most of my original colors, but not camel or any other form of brown. I used to look great in camel.
Just did a video on *color analysis* on my channel if anyone's interested. Love all this! I don't think it's 100% about the season (or temperature)... those things are super interesting, but can be a little limiting. Colors def play into your attitude & personality, too :)
What us round? My Sumer light color where are there? This work is crazy!! Soothing u looking for color doe make for clothes for paint that work on summer! And I can fine it, at simple to learn are we feel like like sone is control what u where no! Im freedom!!!!!!!!!! Right!!! I Just look for information on color for summer! And no one want to talk a bout😢
I'll buy an EV when they can get 500 miles of range while towing a heavy trailer up steep hills both ways in sub-zero temperatures with the heat, air conditioning, and stereo on full blast, and can then recharge back to full in 5 minutes.
