Really? Huh...either they modified his voice later on in editing or Whitehead himself altered his performance, because he sounded more like Sallis in the Jubilee Bunt-A-Thon commercial.
Prem that's because peter sallis took a break in 2011 and was replaced by ben whitehead. So far, he's doing good with his impression, just a few pitch errors.
I think they should’ve pitched this guy’s voice up a couple notches to make it sound more like Peter Sallis. He sounds WAY too deep here. However, good newbie or bad, none could or will ever beat Peter Sallis. He will always be THE Wallace at the end of the day.
The guy who voiced this is the same guy who voiced Wallace in "The Big fix-up" Ben Whitehead, an actor who debuted as Baker Bob in "A matter of loaf and death" and the new voice actor for Wallace They sound different because he improved his Wallace impression with time
@@LeoCalonder Peter Sallis was still alive, but he wasn’t always available, hence the different voice actor filling in for him here. The same thing often happened with Sesame Street’s Big Bird over the decades, too, and Carol Spinner’s understudy became the new official Big Bird performer after Carol retired. Matt Vogel, who also plays Ernie and Kermit the Frog today, used to sound nothing like Carol’s original Bird Bird character back in the day (too deep and nasally), but now he does a much better job I would say.
it be cool id they did for a while a Wallace and Gromit Inventions exbit at the mesuem of science in boston heck i go to it and you get to see the ship test your hight to those robot Trousers and even see the car wallace drove in for the pestcontroll and top bun!
Wait a second that’s not Peter Sallis I mean does did everyone notice it sounds like Wallace went through Voice surgery If Peter Sallis was alive he will be very mad
Benjamin Whitehead Benjamin Whitehead (born 15 May 1977) is an English actor, voice artist and read-in artist, who is best known as the current voice of Wallace in the Wallace & Gromit franchise after Peter Sallis's retirement and subsequent death.
For the people complaining about Wallace's voice, that is Ben Whitehead who was new to Wallace's voice at the time.
Really? Huh...either they modified his voice later on in editing or Whitehead himself altered his performance, because he sounded more like Sallis in the Jubilee Bunt-A-Thon commercial.
Well in the Christmas video he did very well 👍🏻
I think he sounds pretty good!
Even if Mr Sallis is no longer with us, I confess that Ben Whitehead perfectly captures what I loved what the original did with Wallace.
Not in this commercial though. But he got better.
That’s right

At least Gromit sounds the same
Sounds alright in 1.25 speed
Quite right. In the beginning, at least.
I swear these two are Doc & Marty but nicer and more kid-friendly.
I don't think so

Would you rather me say Rick & Morty?
They’re none of those things.

Great ad, but the only problem is that Wallace's voice is too deep here.
That’s because Ben Whitehead was just starting out as Wallace. At the time, Peter Sallis hadn’t passed on yet.
