- The deleted scenes from the DVD release of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, I decided to upload these as they were on the DVD since all that can be found of them are phone recordings of the deleted scenes being played on a TV.

I watched these scenes with the dvd commentary, and it is here that both Nick and Steve say that one of the reasons they scraped the idea of both Wallace and Hutch having to go back into the machine to get cured was because they loved Hutch so much that they didn’t want to turn him back into a regular rabbit. I do personally like the original ending a lot and wish they kept it somehow because I feel like it made more sense, but I still love seeing the rabbit sanctuary at the end too. Even though it’s no longer cannon to the story, I still enjoy seeing what could have been. And I’m happy that Lady Tottington gets to see fluffy creatures everyday.

(I wish that line was added to the movie. Gromit thought he can change Wallace’s cheese habit, Lady Tottington thought she can change Victor’s hunting obsession, and Wallace thought he can change the rabbits vegetable obsession. They found out that it’s wrong to force them to change. That’s what this movie thought me)

How gromit eat or drink
I feel Gromit is more justified because Wallace's diet is objectively unhealthy. I get it's Wallace's choice at the end of the day but Gromit wants him to eat healthy because he cares about him. Meanwhile Wallace tried to artificially change rabbits' brains to dislike vegetables and Tottington will only hurt herself trying to change an emotionally abusive man.

2:54 Redundancy shmedundancy, now that I’ve seen this version I actually want a version of the film that uses it. It would’ve been a great way to bring the film’s main characters full circle: Gromit getting to experience at least a little bit of normalcy as he and Hutch head off to stop and save Wallace.
We need a goddamn directors cut to see the uncut scenes including unused clips of the wererabbit transformation

Well with the workprints of Chicken Run that leaked earlier this year, I have a strange feeling we may see some Were-Rabbit workprints later down the line.

Instead of Peter Sallis.
That is temporary voice (for Wallace) as a part of the animation process before they get animated.

Wait a minute, that was Nick Park doing the scratch voice for Wallace?! is there anything else about these deleted scenes that I should know?
- The first alternate ending here is a BIT too similar to the ending of A Close Shave for me. The bit afterwards is nice though!
- Okay, the Wedding scene is BAFFLING. Who's idea was THAT? Although the bit with the Yorkshire Border is nice.
- Although the song is quite nice, and I appreciate the reference to Wash 'N Go, it's not very "Wallace and Gromit" in my mind.

That launch sequence with Hutch and Gromit would've been great to have in the movie, especially as it uses the music from _A Close Shave._ Would've been a nice call-back to the classic shorts!

The art and quality of the cameras make this look like it was set in the mid to late 90s.
It’s what the colour grading was like on the OG 35mm print, for some reason, the deleted scenes weren’t colour corrected for the DVD.
The unused ending was so calm

3 Deleted Scenes From the Movie.
1:03, 2:07, & 2:54.
One of the original endings show Hutch is placed back into the Mind-O-Matic, with Wallace inside the BunVac as part of an attempt to restore the two back to their pre-accident selves. When Wallace and Gromit try the carrot test, Hutch refuses the carrot, but instead dives into a whole bowl full of carrots, revealing that he has been restored with his rabbit instincts.
These are really good I especially like PC Macintosh's run in with the were rabbit deleted scene
They really should have kept this scene in the final cut.

Man thank you for posting decent quality versions of these scenes because the only other videos with the deleted scenes from what I've seen are pretty low quality and some even being deleted

Nick Park is the temporary voice for Wallace as a part of the animation process before they get animated and before Peter Sallis.
Scratch vocals are also often used in the production of feature-length animated films to bring storyboards to life as "animatics," in which storyboard frames are synced to the relevant dialogue, together with a rough soundtrack generated on a synthesizer. Animation directors "hire temporary voices to help find their way through various script revisions, visual renderings and other steps of the process." However, in the rush to meet deadlines, if the scratch vocals for a minor role are good enough, the director may skip auditions and simply use the actor who recorded the scratch vocals in the role. I loved this movie so much as a kid and I still do years after I’ve grown up. In my opinion both Alternate endings work. However, I love the one they came up with best.

Seventh deleted scene:we’ve never seen wallace sing in a wallace and gromit film before, but apparently this is supposed to be a full on musical number
Eighth deleted scene:like the continuity nod to a close shave there, as wallace would say, very cheeky
Ninth deleted shot:not so much to say for this scene, it’s just a looping shot of gromit looking at other people’s veg
Also the deleted shot dosen't have sounds, it's totally mute

I actually felt that the two deleted scenes should work into the movie just fine, especially the second one where they demonstrated the Mind Manipulation-O-Matic in the first test run.

I've seen these on my old DVD and can safely say I massively prefer the final movie.
As a Yorkshire resident, I would've been pretty insulted by that original ending, and they still went to extra effort to recycle it for Loaf & Death.

But if this version actually was in the final film, it would have been a little redundant. The audience already saw this exact moment in the beginning of the film with Wallace.

In the CG Altered Rabbit Ears scene, The music at the beginning isn't anywhere as good as it is in the final cut of movie. Also if Wallace still has rabbit ears then, how comes he has normal ears at 4:30 and then rabbit ears again 4:38? Then normal ears once again at 5:29? That is a goof! What's more it made more sense to not have the rabbit ears in the final cut if the curse of was lifted. But how wouldn't Wallace have needed to use the mind o matic to lift the curse? Ps what does CG stand for?

The scenes where he has normal ears were a mistake. If you listen to the commentary for the deleted scenes, Nick Park does point out that those scenes were done after they decided not to have the rabbit ears. The fact that they decided is because like you said, if the curse was lifted then he shouldn't have them. The fact that they originally wanted him to still have them is very peculiar. I don't understand it either.
