Tip from a home cookin, scratch makin' momma!! I'm sure the recipe called for chicken breast, but chicken thigh is SOO much more flavorful!! it cooks super fast and its REALLY HARD to over cook. it'll come out perfect every time with minimal effort! this looked so delicious this will definitely be dinner for tonight!! thanks you Ms.Glory!!!
I enjoy watching your channel and the Slice and Rice channel too! Hope you and your family are doing well and continue with all the shop with me and cooking videos i truly enjoy them i love the smell of mint! Mint is my favorite herb
Wow, it looks super duper yummy! Also tip for cutting onions I learned from taking a culinary class: breathe through your mouth and not through your nose. Your eyes won’t get as watery :)
yeah youre right about that glory, vinegar, especially citrus fruits (like limes and pineapples) help with tenderizing the meat and gives it more flavor, yogurt can also help with tenderizing. also ginger and beer can help with that too.
You’re doing so great for someone who “doesn’t like to cook”! I honestly can feel your love for cooking so i think you do love it :) or you are just a wonderful mama and wife❤ please continue with these cooking vids!! Rly feels authentic and relatable!! Btw there’s veggie choppers and useful kitchen items on temu or amazon prob and i highlyyy recommend such a time/energy saver!!!!! My entire kitchen is from temu cus of my mom LOL it is a hit or miss but reviews are usually accurate :) Also, my mom uses knife sharpeners (they’re like square stones you can find anywhere like amazon too! I would watch tutorials if you wanna try it :)
You cooked your heart out girl!! That looked sooooo freaking good!! Little cooking advice, always keep the blade away from you (you don’t want any cuts on ya!). Whenever I’m done cutting, I face the blade, sharp side upward and away from my fingers and hands. Also the thermometer, I always have a cup of cold water to put the thermometer in so that way the temperature is dropping (it’ll do that and isn’t broken) and THEN temp whatever meat you are cooking!!
This looks great Glory! I started keeping a sopping wet paper towel between myself and the cutting board when chopping onions. The onion scent will go to the nearest moist thing (the paper towel) instead of your eyes. It’s a game changer for me.
I love, love, loveeeeeeee your videos! I’m an Aldi shopper because of you. I wanted to give you a recommendation of this chicken breast that I always purchase from there when I make chicken Alfredo w/ broccoli. It’s called Authentic Southwest Style Seasoned Chicken, definitely 10/10!!!
Your dinner looks delicious my favorite smell is soil like when you turn soil over in the garden it’s very earthy like the smell after a rain storm I just love it 🥰
Veggie chopper is amazing for a meal that needs lots of diced veggies. I use gloves to do the same but after I de-seed and cut it in half. The chopper does amazing with jalapeño
I just watch a video explaining how many inflammatory oils Chipotle uses. They even use bad oil in the rice. So, great to see this recipe without all the bad. Great job!
I made a copycat chipotle bowl as well and it turned out soo good! You could have left the chicken in the bowl and covered with seran wrap or foil 😊. Funny thing is my brother was the manager at Chipotle for some time and gave the approval for my bowl and rice 😁.
Your husband knows you very very well he said that you didn’t know what you were looking at and he was right sis I don’t use meat thermometers either so we are in the same boat ❤😂
Girl just rinse you're black beans and add them in you're bowl they are already cooked and steam that corn in bag its in in the microwave saves soooo much time!
You should use the gloves to handle meat as well. I do and it makes everything so much easier because then I'm not accidently spreading germs everywhere
I would not worry about rinsing first. you're cooking in a super hot pan which is going to kill everything. Like what could you be rinsing off that you're not sanitizing and killing with the heat. And if you're rinsing raw chicken then your splattering raw chicken all over your sink and possibly the counters, and sink faucet and risking contamination. @@glorybrooks
Jalapeño tip: sometimes if your knife isn’t sharp enough it’ll press down on the pepper and splatter the juices before it actually slices through! Had it happen before- right into the eye 🥲
You better clap for yourself momma 😂😂❤
👏👏👏🥹

Veggie chopper is amazing for a meal that needs lots of diced veggies. I use gloves to do the same but after I de-seed and cut it in half. The chopper does amazing with jalapeño
My favorite smell is lavender!!
I've never had Chipotle, but I'm definitely going to try this at home.
Oh wow! If you try this recipe you’ll pretty much know how it tastes! It’s sooo similar :)
Get a digital meat thermometer, it has been my lifesaver when it comes to cooking chicken (especially)! Looks great Glory!!
Taking note!!!
6:03 the misses recommends you do the marinating in a big plastic bag instead of a bowl.
So amazing
I just watch a video explaining how many inflammatory oils Chipotle uses. They even use bad oil in the rice. So, great to see this recipe without all the bad. Great job!
Happy Mothers Day🙏🙏🙏🌷🌺🌸🥰By the way the chicken bowl looks delicious❤
Thank you💖💖💖
That really is the best can opener ever lmao 😮💨
Happy Mother's day, Glory💝❣️
for the thermometer make sure you place it in the thickest part of the meat. you might have to calibrate it every so often to get accurate readings
I do this all the time great way to save money and its better b/c you can put what ever you want and how much you want in it
So so true!!!! I need to do it more often
All the way from South Africa I love your channel 😘😘
Loving your cooking videos💖
Hi Glory I love your content 💗
Hi Sherrie!☺️ thank you!

I peep the VidCon Balitmore shirt...are ya'll gonna be there again this September? 👀🤭
Glory I love love love these vids but I always get sad cs there’s no taste test / mukbang after 😞🫶🏻
I dont know if anyone ever mentioned this yet, but put a wet dish towel under your plastic cutting board to prevent it slipping while you cut things.
Your husband knows you very very well he said that you didn’t know what you were looking at and he was right sis I don’t use meat thermometers either so we are in the same boat ❤😂
Just fyi, they have digital meat thermometers that are easier to read. Love the cooking videos!!
Hey Glory just a helpful tip for cooking meat to make sure it's done you can cook it 10 minutes on each side 😉
Have a great week 🙂
Happy Mother's Day.🙂❤
i love that jacket on you! where's it from?
Pro tip wear swim googles when cutting up onions 😊
Girl just rinse you're black beans and add them in you're bowl they are already cooked and steam that corn in bag its in in the microwave saves soooo much time!
For real. Already cooked. No need to recook.
YAAAAY!!!!
🙌🙌🙌
Love lemon grass and eucalyptus smell
❤
I use gloves for raw meat because I hate touching it and the smell but the gloves on the box will tell you if they have powdered inside of them 😊😊
You definitely cooked enough for a family of 8 lol jk it'll get easier to measure once you do the recipe again. Looks delicious 😋
lol no for real!😂
You should get a vegetable chopper!!!
You should use the gloves to handle meat as well. I do and it makes everything so much easier because then I'm not accidently spreading germs everywhere
I rubbed my eye after chopping serrano pepper and almost died 😅 now I wear gloves too
❤❤
🌯
Using the back of the knife to scrape off the board will save your boards and your knife!
🌯🌯🌯
🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯
Maybe your knives aren't sharp.
Everything looks good!!
Hi Glory
Hi!
🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯
Saves so much money because chipotle is expensive okay. Lol
🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯
Lolol I see what you did there
30 mins???? Just get ready made rice and ready made ingredients to put it together 😂
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🫶🏽💐❣️
Happy Mother's Day, and please wash your chicken and clean your kitchen up. Just a word of advice, I love all your videos.
At rinse off the meats 😬
I sometimes do sometimes don’t, I don’t even know what’s right anymore because people say different things! Haha
Wash all the meat and all veggies and fruit and hands :)
Your pan wasn’t hot enough at the Beginning 😉.
Jalapeño tip: sometimes if your knife isn’t sharp enough it’ll press down on the pepper and splatter the juices before it actually slices through! Had it happen before- right into the eye 🥲
👍👍👍
