I Love these tours! It's like walking down memory lane with you!❤ You have so many beautiful planners filled with so many gorgeous ideas and techniques!
You already know that I love your junk journal planners and your planning videos! So of course it was a pure joy so see you flip through the old ones! 💕
Love going down memory lane with you and these journals. I watched all these videos where you made the journals. You so helped me get through that dark time when the world was shut down, taking our minds off what was going on. I made a journal during the shut down as well, a journal about my 2 Grandmas and my 2 Great Grandmas with their sewing notions and pieces of material and memories of them. TFS your journals and the memories of making them. ❤
Good morning Barbara, love 💕 love travelling through your planners with you . Amazing! Beautiful! Can’t wait to see the rest of your planners . Thank you . Blessings my dear . 😍❤️😍
I love the quote 'There's no need to have it all, just make the most of what you have'. Thank you, as always, for sharing. And on top of that, seeing how you have evolved is both encouraging and inspirational. 🧡💚🤎
No worries, we all walked more in 2020, the memorable year of the world shutting down! I began my first junk journal in September 2020. The way you presented your artistic style changed for sure since then. I think we all want to explore and evolve in our art❤, but looking back is part of out journey.
Love this, I made a few junk journals by now but never thought to make a planner out of it. Love the journals, the one with the numbers on the spine is gorgeous. 🩷
I love watching your past work. It’s very interesting how over the time you keep developing your skills and your own style. Barbara, you are amazing artist with so much to offer. It’s obvious that despite your own personal favourites you keep searching for new techniques, materials and the results of your journey is just amazing. Thank you for sharing your artistic world with us ❤
It was so interesting to see your development, especially the difference between the last of the altered books and the first of the junk journals with the extra pieces. Not only did the pages become more interactive but your voice when describing them became much more animated.
I remember you making all of these except the first one, which is just about when I started following your channel. Such memories, having watched you make each component and little collage. It was lovely seeing them again and sparked some older ideas which I desperately needed for a journal I’m working on right now and had a real block with. Thankyou for that and also for sharing your beautiful work! Take care xx
Loved this Journal Tour Barbara! I've always appreciated your style and have followed you for years now, admiring all the different ways you express yourself. I gathered that you were not comfortable with the collage you skipped over quickly, as you called it strange. I went back and did a little freeze-frame to view it. I have to say I loved it! I found it provocative, interesting and definitely not predictable, which I find quite refreshing!🎉💫🥳🥳
Barbara. Thank you for sharing these with us. It’s so great to see the way your style has changed over time. I would love to start making planners of my own. You have inspired me. ❤
So much fun to see these planners again and be reminded how you used all of those printables that are so familiar now. My granddaughters, who are now journaling at ages 7 and 10, love it when I print out some of the things from Felix Fox, Asrai, and Enchanted Blueberry Woods for them. The 10 year old also loves the Dreaming of Summer papers!
I remember the videos from many of these planners, not sure exactly when I started following you but, it was during Covid! So nice to have a flip through with you!💕🇨🇦
I'm not a planner person nowadays (being retired i can now wing it), but I loved the tour because it reminds me of my early days of learning about Journaling! I remember many of these pages being put together, and the kits!.... Thanks Barbara ❤
Hi Barbara, I hope you are fine, thank you for this video, see your évolutions into your planner it's very interesting for me, and i love so much the finalist planner, i m very happy and exciting to see next... I hope you understand my english 😂😂... Take care of you and big kisses you and luise ❤❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤
I spent about an hour last night going through my completed journals and it was fun to see what I had done and also all the stuff I forgot about. I'm traveling next week and wanted to bring some of them with me to show my BFF from School. I'm going to attend may 60th year class reunion on July 5th. Then, this morning, I found your video, and I couldn't help but smile through those like you did. Junk Journaling is a fun enjoyable hobby. I also found out that I have been watching you around the time you made the second planner. I look forward to your videos and often re-watch yours to remember 'how' or need a little "inspiration". Thank you so much for being you! Hugs from MN.
So lovely to take a trip to memory lane with your and your journals Barbara. The sketch birds digitals must be my favorite from all your kits. It is the one I re-print often. I use to write thank you notes for friends, for ephemera and collage on my journals and other projects. They are so so adorable, true pieces of art.
Thank you so very much for showing these journals. I have been in a journaling slump for almost 1.5 years, as I somehow felt I wasn't doing it right. Seeing you with your later journals, you and I did almost the exact same thing, with the month theme page, calendar spread, and summary of the month followed by what happened in that month. You have really helped inspire me to get back into journaling again!
Haven’t finished watching this yet but I had to put this here before I forget. The handmade flower you showed in your May 2021 was one I made (a lot of them) and used in my own Grungy Journal. I made 2 others and gave them away. But I loved that flower so much. It was feminine but grunged up with fun coffee drips and bubbles. That was cool to see it here. Addition: I love seeing when you sit next to your Journal Shelf on the floor. Oh my gosh Barbara!!! Look at them all! I think that is so exciting. So much beauty and creativity in one place. I’m so happy for you to have your own studio space where you can display everything! No more boxes under your bed. Lol. Love these.
I am such a book nerd! It was really fun for me to see titles of books that I have read on your lists. 😀❤️📖 Also, I’d really love to start doing junk journal planners. This video is very inspiring!
Creativity, organisation and sheer inspiration.... My happy place lol. July 2020, I've been here nearly all of it! Cool 😎. Ah, yes, loss of momentum is a familiar problem🙈. Aww the monthly summary was lovely💖. Thought the newsletter was overdue 🙈. Funny how things just don't 'stick' despite enjoying them. Lol I like your 'strange ' collage! Very whimsical! Thank you, I've thoroughly enjoyed part 1. It's lovely looking back and remembering you making them, past kits and seeing your style evolve! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Hello Babara, now in english! I'm Heidi my ridding english is bad! Ok your books are Lovely! And i like whem, i has built one in 2020 but i have make a big Mistake one Book for a year was not good. Now, tree years later my live has Change complet and i'm lost! So i look for new Thinks to do. Love Heidi
FYI., my favorite kit was the “what’s on my desk”. I have loved all the planner kits I have bought and used but that one I really had fun with ,.,.,.,., It must be something in the air, you’re the 3rd artist that I follow that is looking back on the journals they’ve made. You all have said the same thing, you’ve forgotten about certain techniques, or clusters etc etc. And of course how different your styles have changed. One artist, can’t remember who 😕, stated that she really like her first journals better. The reason she gave was because they were made with no expectations, just stuff she had , . Before we had “all the stuff” I must say I agree, I love my first journal the best. I had very few supplies. Used junk and stuff I had., now at times I feel overwhelmed with all the supplies I have and $$ I’ve spent, and don’t know what to use, or where to begin 😕. I’m loving your journal journeys. Fun to see the changes. ❤️❤️❤️
I have a Plan With Me Playlist where you can see my current planners and process: th-cam.com/play/PL0uZLUk_bfW7IeVk7IuzPk6xjSU-5skmr.html&si=mefXcxlyJRt3trx6
I think when you were most disappointed with your planners, you were spending so much time making the huge kits with multiple background pages, tags and more that was a chore. I thought they were beautiful, even then. I wonder how the “on my desk” digital would look with your new style. Thanks for sharing your heart and your art.
Thank you for letting us join your journey.
I Love these tours! It's like walking down memory lane with you!❤ You have so many beautiful planners filled with so many gorgeous ideas and techniques!
Love your style. Barbara love how loving you are and sharing your life journey. You have the sweetest voice.💜💜💜
You already know that I love your junk journal planners and your planning videos! So of course it was a pure joy so see you flip through the old ones! 💕
Thank you for sharing your journals with us.🐼🐼
I really love this journey with you through your Journal planners. Looking forward to the next installment

Hola..tienes una habitación muy bonita. Gracias por los vídeos. Te sigo desde Alicante España
Love your collection..
This is exactly what I was looking for. I did make planner that fit me for awhile but I really like how you made yours.

Brilliant!! I gave up using Moleskines and have been making my own now. I use them seasonally.❤

I can totally relate with the overwhelm of too much choice….
Hi Barbara how do you get proCreate for iPad?
You can find it in the App Store.
I know you said procreate didn’t really stick with you but What program do you use to create your digitals?
I use Affiniy Photo.
Do you do the monthly layout ahead of time or as you go?
I have a Plan With Me Playlist where you can see my current planners and process: th-cam.com/play/PL0uZLUk_bfW7IeVk7IuzPk6xjSU-5skmr.html&si=mefXcxlyJRt3trx6
