I know you guys have a lot on your plate but this is definitely a series you should stick with. It gets ridiculously good

I love this show, but to get a complete story arc I recommend you watch the related series (Fear TWD and World Beyond)
Plus us reaction fans will always flock to a new reaction series of The Walking Dead. When I find a channel reacting to it I'm instantly in for the long haul

One cool thing to know is that in this universe there were no such things as zombies, no movies, films or stories had them in so they had no prior knowledge of how zombies work.

Yep, I heard Kirkman himself say that in an interview ... that's why they call them "Walkers" .. there's no such thing as a 'zombie' in their world.

This is not a spoiler because it’s not mentioned in the show but Rick was in the hospital for 59 days 2 months which does explain why the flowers died and why the Zombie Apocalypse already started.

I dont think all of them are necessary but there is a webisode that helps explain how Rick survived almost 2 months in the hospital after the apocolypse began, its called The Oath. Im cant rememeber if there is any spoilers in it though so perhaps best to wait till after the first couple seasons of TWD.

seasons 1-3 are perfect tv after that you'll notice obvious plot holes, unrealistic situational awareness, illogical decisions, but the acting is always top notch.

@@londyngivens yea after watching it so many times, I noticed more and more questionable things. Nothing too huge. But just little things where you’re like “now why the hell would such and such character do that”. Still a great show. Just not impeccable if we’re to be technical.
Fun Fact: The zombie that Rick kills when he is inside the tank is played by the actor Sam Witwer, who voices Palpatine in Star Wars: Rebels, Starkiller from the Force Unleashed games and a certain someone in Clone Wars I just realised I can't tell you about yet.

The thing with Lori, she’s mourning and coping. I don’t believe Shane went to abuse that but he’s also mourning the loss of his best friend. It’s good to point out this is a zombie apocalypse so the “wait period” for widows to move on to another person is gonna different than what we normal people would do. In a zombie apocalypse, life is so much shorter.
Definitely agree with this, however I still think Lori’s a bitch, this just isn’t the reason why 😂
No matter what people say. Stick with it. Some seasons get slow, but it picks back up! Worth it

5:14 - Don't Dead! Open Inside! :)
Okay seriously, Shane told Lori that Rick was dead. This is all on Shane. People wanted to hate Lori left and right but Shane basically handed her a shit sandwich and then everyone criticized the way she ate it. And wait til you see what this one mistake does to her in the long run. It's fucking tragic. Lori wasn't all the way happy in her marriage to Rick, but she still loved him, she'd have never done anything with Shane if she'd known he was alive all along, and she didn't deserve any of this. You'll see what I mean in season two. Shane didn't just fuck up, he doubled down on the fuckup. There was something seriously wrong with that guy.
Something else you gotta understand too, this wasn't the old world where a guy dies of cancer or something and then his widow waits a year to move on. This was the whole world ending and serious, serious trauma and people clinging to whatever will still make them feel alive and normal. Which just makes it worse that Shane lied to Lori.

About a month later, Rick came out of his coma and found himself alone. Surviving that long without food and water is unlikely, especially in his state. A body can’t be without water for more than three to five days, but Rick had an IV in his arm when he woke up, so liquid was going into his body. However, the IV bag would’ve needed to be refilled at some point. That meant someone had to be checking on him regularly. With The Walking Dead now over, there's no better time to look back at how did Rick survive his coma and how long was Rick in a coma. (googled myself to ask how Rick survived with no treatment in a coma)
TWD is my favorite series ever. I've seen each episode numerous times, and I look forward to seeing how each of you feel about what will happen in this show.
GoT, TWD, and Breaking Bad, the 2010's produced some of the greatest television ever, TV for the first time ever had movie like budgets and they put it to good use

This show is similar to Game Of Thrones in the way that it was ultra popular and kept you wanting to see what happened. Especially seasons 1-7 or 8. But it got good again towards the end too.

Guys I know it's 177 episodes but the journey is DEFINITELY worth it. It truly has legendary status like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and Game of Thrones (at least TWD didn't flop in the final season). Plz stick with it and I'll definitely watch your reactions cuz yall are fun.

@@The_Modern_Nomads TWD had better ratings than Game of thrones, partly because it was on prime time tv, and you had to pay for GOT on HBO. It was similar in ratings to Breaking bad. I personally like it WAY better than breaking bad.

the walking dead truly is pehnomenal and a lot of your assumptions on what the show is going to be like were actually not too far off. It really is about what would happen If in a world without rules and laws you were put together with completely different people that under normal circumstances never ever would've come together.. this show will constantly put you in moral dilemmas and will bring up questions and scenarios that will make you wonder about your own humanity and what it means to be human. And often times you will find yourself torn between what's the right and what's the easy way and you will ask yourself ''what would I do in a situation like that?''. 😌 I have a feeling that this show really is something for you guys. I can already see you have different opinions on certain topics and I already can't wait for you to get to certain points, decisions and even characters in this show .. it's gonna be one hell of a ride , that's for sure🔥
Tbh those are our favourite type of shows to watch together, thought provoking series that make us question things and discuss. Can’t wait for more!

Rick had a bullet proof vest on but when he turned the 2nd shot got him in between it. Seeing him leave the hospital with his hospital gown and shorts, the importance of leaving your family member a change of clothes so they can change.... LOL
bro ppl got mad at me for hating Lori but not just because she hooked up with Shane but it’s the fact that when she reunited with Rick she pushed Shane aside as if nothing happened BUT she took Shane’s side for EVERYTHING. And she barely cared for Carl, throwing someone else to take care of him. Hell Shane took care of Carl better than her. She also never did any responsibilities like cooking/cleaning killing zombies and fighting. she just stood there so she wasn’t really important to the group anyways.
I stopped at season 6. But honestly some of the story line in the first few seasons are mind blowing. I was watching as they released weekly and would have a whole munch set up for it.
This is definitely one you guys will enjoy!

The zombies (which by the way are called "walkers" since "zombies" don't exist in the shows universe, meaning no one has written about or depicted them which is why no one knew what to do) can pick up things, do certain actions or go back to certain places because they still have those memories. They may not talk and interact the way normal humans do, but the virus that reanimates them definitely has access to any memories they have.

Rick waking up in the hospital, "28 Days Later" style, was a pleasant surprise for fans of the zombie genre. Until the very end, this show did not disappoint.Neither did the other two series of the franchise.
