These Indian youngsters are so strong. The largest percentage of immigrants in my state are from India and I've worked with a lot of them in engineering. No surprise to me that they are doing so well in chess too.
Yes they are all very talented, but more importantly I think they are just fearless at the chess board, always trying to play for a win no matter what! They are hungry for success!
@@drmikechess That's great in that it creates new theory. I think that you're more inclined to do that when you are young and you have the brain energy to do so. It's a lot harder to do so on the other side of 50.
Pragg is very creative like Alireza Firouzja and hence more dangerous than Gukesh or Caruana IMHO . But the strongest is Arjun ! Indian youths are really doing great in reviving the game!
I agree 1000%, Pragg goes for absolutely insane ideas in his games, when I saw him play the delayed Schliemann variation of the Ruy Lopez at the 2024 candidates I nearly lost it, at that point I realized this guy is just a monster hahaha. But yes Gukesh and Arjun are absolutely on fire right now!
In 2022 Miami FTX Crypto Cup as explained at the very end of the intro with the picture of Pragg, he was 2661 when this game was played. It makes it even crazier for pragg to outplay Magnus when he was 200 elo points lower!
Starting to get used to your commentating style and besides that it seems like youre getting better at more lively commentary, congrats! Youre improving, starting to really appreciate this channel, keep it up
Thank you so much! Yes I am pretty new in the youtube world, my channel basically blew up this month and is growing really fast right now. And yes I am constantly trying to get better with my commentary, its a work in progress, but I think I am getting better each video!
I thought Magnus didn't play the Olympiad because he was prepping for the next tournament. But from this, it just looks like he was avoiding early onset of trauma from the Indians.
Praggers gives birth to victory again vs Magmaximus! Why are soo many GMs having issues with beating the Sicilians or defending it? They all seem to be trying to re-invent the wheel of fortune yet forgetting some basic principles. Mag's rook looked crazy and had to be sacked like the other one! He played scared! and even got in a 'check' as one of his last games, which I never used to see that.
Well I have a shorter one coming out next on Magnus new opening vs Hikaru, maybe 12-13 minutes I think, it all depends on how long and crazy the game is, longer and crazier means longer video, sometimes I do shorter ones too!
Kramnik entered a tournament, he lost his first game and immediately complained “he’s definitely cheating!” The arbiter said “Vladimir, it's a simul and you were playing yourself!” Kramnik narrowed his eyes and muttered, “Even I don’t trust me these days…”
Prag did not have an intention to win from the beginning instead offerd a draw....obviously he feared carlsen, it's a lucky win for him even though Iam Indian I cannot consider this as praise worthy for prag.,..shame on him lucky win
2022 Miami FTX Crypto Cup as clearly explained at the end of the introduction, and literally right at the start of the description! There are no tricks on this channel - I always say exactly when the games were played!
I think Magnus should have resigned much earlier. To continue playing at such a disadvantage at such high ELO levels is somewhat disrespectful to the opponent and to the game.
That's ok brother! Yes there are plenty of other good chess youtubers you can watch instead of me if you want. But no one provides fast-paced educational chess sports commentary like I do! Let's Goooooooooo!
When you lose a rook because of iffy moves prior to, it’s not a sacrifice. When you give up a rook after it’s chased around to stop losing time and attack elsewhere, it’s not a sacrifice. When you trade more material for less, it’s an exchange. There were not 3 rook sacs, there were none. And responding to 1. e4 with c5, that’s not “being aggressive” or “not slowing down”. Need some work bud on your diction.

Whether it be GM Carlsen or (IM ?)Pagnananda, I am very grateful that our chess community continues to be dynamic.
🙏🏽 ♟️
Yes it's great to see so many different up and coming chess players who are crushing it! Go Pragg!

Praggers has learned to play more aggressive than he used to. He knows he can't lay back against Mags and needs to get to him before he gets to him!
Kid gukesh is more creative than pragg checkout gaiaski vs gukesh .

Thanks to you, watching chess games feels as exciting as watching action movies. ❤ Love it!
Hahaha thank you so much! That is exactly the experience I am trying to create for you guys, very exciting so its fun to watch!
Great breakdown, thanks. Prag is a monster and my son’s favorite player. “En prise” has a Z sound at the end.
Oh gotcha thanks for the correction there! Haha yes he's my favorite Indian player out of the big 3 (Pragg / Gukesh / Arjun)!
Nice commentary thankyou keep doing 🎉
Thank you brother! I'm just getting started, I think this channel will be very big in the near future!
Magnus was on the back foot the whole game.
Yes as soon as he took that pawn on c5 with the rook Pragg started to take over, and he never let up!
Pragg, Gukesh,Arjun....young guns taking over...
Yes they are all on fire right now!
Aravind also
Wow great game he had Magnus on his heels the whole time!
Yes as soon as Magnus took that pawn on c5 Pragg took the initiative and did not let up!
Very apt commentary! Good Technical Analysis and quite entertaining as well!! Way to go...!!!

Your narration/commentary is pretty good.
when was this played ? Pragg has just 2661 ELO ..? A great analysis of Sicilian variation

"are" in place of "ate" .. Isn't it ?!!😅
I don't know what you mean by this?
@@MrQuantum-n3w I'm so confused lol

Magnus is a world champion for a while. Nice to see new challengers emerge. Magnus was also like 16-18 when he broke out.
I remember how when just a kid he upset Hikaru big time in the Tata steel. The writing was on the wall!

Thank you!!!
2:40 "three fold draw by repetition". ??? How about a "draw by threefold repetition".
Brut!al game 🎉so many options my brain is screaming. Magnus is human
Good Pragg...
Keep repeating...
You want me to say "Black" instead of Pragg? It's normal in sports commentary to say the players names brother!
You should mention about when the game was played
Pragg.will tops chess world one day
Yes he is destined for greatness!
Agree

Indeed we do ❤
Well u have an excellent style of explanation !! Commentary was more fun apart from pragg game 😂
4:41 it is capture in this case, not recapture
that was beautiful!
what an attack by pragg!!!

Why the spoiler in the intro?
Sicilian Closed Variation
I thought that was with Nc3 g3? Is that also the name for this one?
I think it was London variation

Hi there! Thanks for commenting! Go Pragg! Let's Goooooooo!
I think Magnus should have resigned much earlier. To continue playing at such a disadvantage at such high ELO levels is somewhat disrespectful to the opponent and to the game.
That's not possible to watch. I am not interested at "what could one do instead!"
There are too many dramatic headlines and I choose to follow others

Carlsen lucky to escape with a draw ... He he 😅
Hahaha XD
100 comment is nothing
Mentioning magnus and pragg's color under their name is a bit racist.
In the end prag could have gone e2 to trade the queen.
👍
Sorry but it sounds like you comment a football mach😢 cant listen to you mate, sorry
More talk, it is so bored,
Sorry brother!
you're talking too much: and with no soul, just a stream of words. make up your mind do better
Overhype--crappy game!
There is nothing great about this game. Magnus is just having fun by playing like an amateur. He is not motivated to play against players like Pragg
