a fact my friend , the money going into kpop video is insane , in a show called Unni slam dunk JYP told them that even the cheepest music video (when it comes to korean standards of course) would cost around 40 000 $ when you think about it it's insane

Desipte Gidle is one of the group titled as “Rookie Monsters” because of their achievements. ( the other two are Izone and itzy) , the fifth generation of girl kpop groups is very competitive! Izone, loona, itzy, gidle, everglow, etc are no joke.
I would recommend you to react to Gidle - lion both music video and Queendom live performance respectively. You wont regret it.

I like this group among girl K-pop groups.
I think that the mv talks about her being an angel and falls in love with a girl, that's why she says "she took me to the sky" "she showed me all the stars" and when she falls in love and eats the white apple that represents purity she becomes a fallen angel

Soyeon is my bias and I have to say that she really is incredible. She rap, sing, dance, write songs...
Soyeon (short black hair), the leader, rapper, for the group is a genius. She's written most of Idle's discography and has even written tracks for other groups. She also does a lot of the composing and arranging for their songs. She also has a great deal of creative control over stages and themes and sometimes even adds to choreography. In order of release: Latata, Hann, Senorita, Uh Oh, Lion for title tracks. But Say No/Put it Straight (nightmare version) is a must see performance. They do amazing live stages.
Minnie (the first one you see) wrote Blow Your Mind (which has a MV) and is excellent. Yuqi (the one in the long hall) is super cute, funny, has a deep voice. Miyeon (the one in white on the tall stage you see after Yuqi) is the main vocalist, the oldest (and almost was in BlackPink) Soojin (the blonde one in this vid) is the main dancer and has a couple of solo dances worth checking out. Shuhua (the one in all white you see 2/3rds through the video) is the youngest member. She's a bit of a space cadet but is very cute. She used to struggle more with her Korean, but she's much better and more confident.

Hello, so their group read as Idle (aideul is Korean word for kids) the G is silent but in their English introduction they always said "Gee-Idle" to differentiate the English word for idle.
The group debut in 2018 and the short haired girl is the leader, main rapper and producer for most of their songs especially their tittle track. They known for "Self Made Girlgroup" tittle in their home country for their ability to actively writing and produce their songs.
I Trust is their third EP from their I series with Oh My God as the tittle track. Previous EP is I Am (debut. Title track Latata) and I Made (second EP tittle track Senorita)
Beside 3 EPs they also release 2 digital songs. "Hann-Alone" and "Uh Oh"

The name g-idle came from Girl(yeoja means female in korean) Idle( Aidl which is children in korean) . So we call this group Yeoja Aidl in korean.

It took me a while to get into gidle but now i really like them. I really appreciate their creativity and their more experimental and artistic style, it's a lot different from other things you here in kpop and I really like it. ALSO i love your comparison to twenty one pilots, I thought of the same thing

They are extremely talented and Soyeon (leader and rapper) composed and produced practically all of the group's songs, which is really incredible considering that in the kpop industry it is very rare for companies to give this type of artistic freedom to their artists and that is even worse with women. They are wonderful.

(g)-idle is probably one of the most underrated girl group in kpop and outside of it. the girls are just amazing and they're not afraid to be experimantal. if they were for example an american group they'd already insanely popular

i recommend u "uh oh" and "lion", also from them. they are completely different styles but so cool and u will like them. and the name of the group is pronounced like "aidel", the g is not pronounced and then u read it like first "i", and then "dle".

Soyeon (the rapper ) wrote and produced most (G)I-DLE songs (you can pronounce it "idle" withouth the G) they debuted in 2018 so they are quite new 😎
Their debut song is LATATA (really good debut song, you can see how much they have grown in such a short period )
