So grateful for this, because like me I believe many other can't afford flamenco classes...just thanks a lot !you are an Amazing player and teacher , and the last one I believe is the most difficult after all! All the best from Portugal
Bien explicado y bien trabajado. El abanico te suena de lujo. A mi no me sale, tendré que practicarlo. Eres estupendo. Muchas gracias graciad
Great player and great explanation! Often I see flamenco guitarists "holding/positioning" the right-hand thumb kind of "high with a straight angle" while playing rasquado. What do you think about that?
Loved your playing on Solera Flamenca channel. Curious if you could do a video explaining your nail maintenance. I’m often looking for a good fake nail solution as practicing wears my naturals very fast and fake ones I try aren’t great so far.
Paco de Lucia had another form of the triplet that he used to great effect : Thumb UP, pinky DOWN, index DOWN ... I think Paco Pena uses this technique also from time to time.
Hola Luciano! How do you make all the small variations of the alegrias? The tiny sounds around G-E and the E-D? Do you have a course or a video for it? They sound amazing!
Hello maestro. in the 1st example is it necessary that the pointer finger stays level or can it move ? (m finger) if it matters, i will train like you. Answer please ))
Luciano, tengo una pregunta. Como marcas los tiempos con el pie? en dos,en tres... ? porque hay diferentes modos y me gustaria saber tu opinion al respecto. Saludos!
With the last one I keep jamming my thumb in the strings on the downstroke if I play it over the fretboard it works but if I do it lets say over the soundhole I keep getting stuck on the downstroke of my thumb, any tips please?
Hey maestro luciano why you flicking the fingers from the palm of hand instead of the thumb is there any difference between them. on your technique course you were flicking from the thumb do you recommend practicing both methods I read that juan martin and many more use that one
@@poodle3507 not even. There are specifications to a flamenco as well. The golpe shield being one of them otherwise you'll ruin the finish work on your classical
I looked at your rasgueado number 1, but my finger m does not remain almost pointed straight as yours does; instead, it bends and 'tries' to participate in the rasguea, and it is difficult to keep it from actually participating. The other rasgueados which you show are easier to do.
Hey did you manage to get it fixed? I can keep middle finger almost straight but I get some pain in tendons (or the very knuckle itself) of third knuckle (the one connecting hand with fingers) of index finger. I guess it will ease with time when i stretch my tendons there?
@@michaelk1589 No. I have not managed to do that one better, although I do not practice it very often. Other than that, I have tried for about 5 or 6 years. Maybe I should practice this one every day and do it slowly.
@@dallemon15 I have practiced it for last 2 months and it was worth it. Nothing hurts anymore and this middle finger is very useful for more complex combinations of rasgueados. Like in Polyphia by Robert Svard flamenco cover check it out its amazing. He uses rasguedos more in 2nd part of song. I highly recommend to practice basic and different combinations. Very slowly but try to get most independence and velocity in each move. Dont speed up unless you feel strenght built in your hand. Can take some months. Im still relatively weak but can sometimes get the crispy hitslap with even tempo. Edit: I just read your previous comment and you say you practice it for 5 years. My deal breaker was going really slow, each finger popping with maximum possible velocity completely independently. You can even go 1 finger/1 second tempo. Practicing also without guitar when sitting somewhere. Just working those muscles. Maybe you too lazy :D Or taking it too fast. Rasgueados are like going to gym everyday, gotta keep them pumping lol. Ok thats enough, peace. Good luck if you still trying.
i cannot believe a player like him can be so simple and generous
These are the secrets of flamenco, and you explain us so easily and understandably.

Should we ring the 6th string on the G chord?

Yes, I recommend practicing both so that you can choose between an aggressive and slightly lighter kind of rasgueados.
Cheers
@@LucianoGhosn thank you for answering maestro always good to learn from you cheers

question: Alegria change on 10, but can change on 9 here?
Enseña en español también
thank you so much ,you are the best.
Thank you!
How important is a flamenco guitar? I think it is more difficult to play rasgueado on classical guitar or even steel string guitar?
Steel string can't get you anywhere near the right sound, you can use a classical
