I find it amazing to see what depths someone can achieve if he or she is gifted rather then just talented or competant . It reminds me very much of the time I was assistand sound engineer to a famous engineer . He would start off mixing and nothing seemed to be extraordinary , add this instument or that, fiddle a little here and fiddle a little there and bam from one sec to the next all falls into place and the song sounds fantastic. The same thing happens when I watch you paint . Pure genius.

I am currently traveling the South Island of New Zealand and was at Milford sound around a week ago. Definitely the most beautiful place I have ever visited. The scenery of the South Island is just incredible. Great video as always!

What a dream ride to your destinations. Wow! I haven't viewed your videos or picked up a brush in about a year as I've been dealing with some life issues. Within the last two months, my husband retired and we moved to the U.S. midwest. So, now I have some beautiful hills and prairies for inspiration . Like you, I just got a new studio space. I have it all set up and am hoping to start painting asap. As my brain fog clears, yours are the first videos I seek out for inspiration. Thank you for always being there. I've got some binge watching to do. btw, love your new hair! It looks good and really fits with the whole artist look. As a former barber those hats drove me crazier! lol

For God's sake! Paint one of the parrot at his/her land or I'll have to do it! ❤
When you are shooting reference in a place like that and in the helicopter, are you primarily shooting video with the thought of taking stills from it, or shooting mainly stills?
I have to shoot both! But, I also had my editor/videographer in tow. She captured a bunch of video as well.
That trip by Helicopter must be espensive ? With the use of drones can be much more easier !
Let me know when you can safely jump inside a drone, and I'll be there!
Its funny how the word EPIC doesnt do the landscape justice... . It wasnt the backdrop for LOTR for nothing! ... just EPIC!!
An artist friend is coming to my town this weekend, we're going out painting. This video is too timely!!
Jump in to Drone, of curse not ! but a drone can help a little to take pictures ,under theyr range of action just a few miles, the voyage you made is also necessary naturally !

Did you take camping gear in case you got stuck due to weather?
We're pretty careful with the forecast and weather window, so in the space of 3-4 hours we should be fine to catch a flight back.

What happened to all of your amazing acrylic videos?!? I only paint in acrylics due to sensitivity to oils. You videos were so good and showed me how to use new brushes that you used and also high flow Golden acrylics. Please add them back on maybe as their own category so I can find them easier. I tried to find them to show a friend and they were all gone. Please!
