I used the brown 4.0 and it worked pretty well. No bad smell and gentle on my hair. It has a slight red tone though. I hope it doesn't fade into red. I might use Coffee brown next time.

      Hi Nimbus,
Thank you for the feedback - we do indeed appreciate it. What was your tone prior to using the 4.0?
When it comes to the range of 3 to 6 natural a big part of the pigment that constitutes brown will be red, so it is very hard to create a 4 brown that has no red it in. Unfortunately, we do not have any cold/ashy browns at the moment I can suggest you :(

My hair is dark brown. So far so good. It does not seem too red. I only used a small portion of the bottle because I only have a few gray hairs underneath my hair so I took an old toothbrush and painted the dye on and it worked quite well. How long do you think the color will last before it begins to fade? And do you think it will fade into a red color?

You did remember to mix with the activator right?
It depends on how often you wash it and what you wash it with. In theory, it should not fade, but in depends on a lot of factors. And no, it should not fade into red :-)

Yes, I did mix it with the activator. I wash my hair every day. So far so good. I am quite happy with it really.

I have a black root and the rest is light blond. I dream about ash medium blond to make my hair look more natural and to cool the blond and get rid of the yellowish tones. Do you think 8A is the perfect one? I'm scared it will turn out brown or even worse :(

Do you make smaller touch up sizes? I only needed a small portion and now I''m already getting new gray hairs growing in.

Do you make a brown color?

Yes they do. I just bought it on eBay. Also available on Amazon. Saw three variations of brown...
brown “4.0”, copper brown “4.6”, and chocolate brown “5.0”. Even though I’m a guy, I like this brand because it’s less toxic then the stuff made specifically for us.

I'm gonna order some from ebay too. Does it come with a brush to apply it and can I use just a little and save the rest for later or will it go bad? I just have some grey hair underneath that is bugging me.
