  • In this episode I want to compare the teachings of Paul, Jesus, and Muhammad on salvation: is it by faith alone, or by works, or both? How do we get to heaven and avoid the punishment of hell fire?
    Romans 10:9-10
'If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.'
    ***
Muhammad said: "Not one of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone." They asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of God?" He said, "Not even me, unless God covers me with His Grace and Mercy".

    Quran Surah 103:
    In the name of Allah
    Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
    1. By time,
    2. Surely man is in loss,
    3. Except those who believe and do good, And exhort one another to Truth, and exhort one another to patience.

      Actually..
The translation from arabic to other language is not too accurate
In the first sentence that says "by time", its more accurate "Allah swear by/to the time" that been debate by scholar, Allah wont swear if it not significant. Allah swear by/to the time... that
2."surely man is in loss" the sentence that been debated that every mankind is in loss when the time that been pass every second by second... they could not be getting it back.. if you do a bad/wrong things, you could not turn the times back to undo it. Because in herafter, every deeds is count.. every single cell will be count and every single intention inside our heart... Allah knows.. would be count too..
So.. Allah warning us... by swearing to the times... that every single one of us is in loss.. muslims or not, if we do bad/wrong things.. or just wasting our time.
3."except for the who belives and do good, and exhort one another to Truth, and exhort one another to patience" its clear as a sky right??
So in this Quran verse.. Allah swear by the time that too many of us will be regrat about the time that they are wasted to do stupid things in our life.. why Allah swear to the time?? Allah is not known for swear easily to anything... so it would be a highlight when Allah sworn to something.
Allah sworn to the times because time is important but everyone is wasting it... like they can buy it anywhere...
Sir.. how old are you??? 20?? 30?? 40??
Take a look back to your childhood years... do you feels that times was loooooonnnnggg time ago.. or just yesterday??? Its like a dream rite?? So... do you think that the life that we live now would be long before we die?? And our journey is just starting dear... after we die.. the journey would be very² long... and it all been counted now... while we live...
The seed should be sow now... while we live... when we die.. all those oppurtinity is gone.. that was the meaning of the surah

@@Chicoeltrini I do not know what Allah is but its not the Father Jesus mentions in the Bible. Reason why I say so is because Jesus said I am the way, truth and the life, no one comes to the father (God) except through me (following Jesus teaching). So if Allah told to follow Muhammad then it means its not the Father. If thats true then what Jesus told becomes false. Also seeing the history of Muhammad I do not think he lived according to Jesus's teachings.

@@prince2132 So you say "Allah is devil" then respond " I do not know what Allah is...". How can that be?
Allah is the Arabic word for God. Search any Bible in the world translated into Arabic and you will see Allah where God would be written in English. I work with Coptic Christians from Egypt, they amongst themselves refer to God as Allah.
Another question I would have for you is what do you believe that Muslims think and feel about Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him)?
Provide if you can teachings from the original Gospel of Jesus, not from the ones "according to" third party sources who never walked with Jesus, talked to Jesus, prayed with Jesus or knew Jesus which show that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) did not live according to the teachings of Jesus keeping in mind that Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets not to change them, meaning all prophets that preceded him.

So you can expect the same connection between Almighty God and His servants, His creations. For us to attain the blessings of Almighty God and be rewarded dwelling in the paradise, of course one will need to beg in prayers for His Grace and follow the guidelines of His messengers on how to conduct ourselves on this earth.

I think good deed is the best way to make this world a better world. On the other hand if youre salvation is just to believe in a person who died for you, there is no need to rush to help other people or to do good, which will result in less carying community and a selfish comunity. Do you believe in the resurrection ? If so , why are men resurrected , when the God of the Torah said to Adam that you will go back to the ground , from whence you came from ? Do you see anyone who lived 150 years ago or earlier , alive or living today ? Why not ? Do you believe what Jesus Christ said in John 6:39,44,54 , I will raise you up again at the last day ? Do you believe that the tree of life was taken away from man after Adam sinned ? Who is the tree of life ? Who is the Word ? Did the Word come in the flesh ? Did the Word create the heavens and the earth . Did the God of Adam walk with him in the garden of Eden ? Did not Jesus state that no one has heard the Father's voice , or seen his shape at anytime ? Is the Word , who we call Jesus Christ ? When you answer all these questions , then you will understand what sin he took away by his death . You are correct when you say to believe on him , and you are saved , but how do you believe , and when are you saved . Did not Jesus come to give you the words of the Father ( Deuteronomy 18:15-19 ; John 12:44-50 ) . Paul understood who Jesus Christ is : If the Word made the world , and he became flesh as Jesus Christ , then Jesus Christ is the old testament God of the bible ; the one who made the world , and gave the Torah to the children of Israel in the wilderness . He also has many names ; one of them is Melchisedec , the priest of The Most High God . Now maybe Paul has a point ? Shalom !

First question , was not Moses a prophet like unto Jesus Christ ? Second question , was not Moses the mediator or interceder of the covenant as Jesus Christ is today ? Third question , who did Jesus Christ replaced as the mediator or interceder ? Four question , did not the circumcision of heart/spirit for sin come through the mediator Jesus ? Fifth question , so what type of circumcision for sin came through the mediator Moses ? Sixth question , does not the circumcision of heart/spirit for sin come through the mediator Jesus Christ , through a priesthood ? Seventh question , did not the priesthood of Leviticus come through the mediator Moses ? Eighth question , In Acts 15:1 , did not the brethren say that except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses , ye cannot be saved ? : Did Moses circumcise anyone of the flesh of foreskin ( Exodus 4:19-26 and Joshua 5:1-8 ) ? Nineth question , what was the circumcision of the flesh of foreskin through the covenant made with Abraham ? Tenth question , was not all the males circumcised of the flesh of the foreskin when they left Egypt ? Eleventh question , what is circumcision ? Twelveth question , what is circumcision for sin ? Thirteenth question , what is circumcision of flesh of foreskin ? Fifteenth question , what did the law of animal sacrifice protect , the flesh/body , or the heart/spirit ? sixteenth question , is not the mediator Jesus , of the priesthood of Melchisedec ? Seventeenth question , are there two circumcisions for sin ? Eighteenth question , is the circumcision for sin ( law of animal sacrifice ) through the mediator Moses , of the Leviticus priesthood , to protect your first tabernacle , or body ? Nineteenth question , is the circumcision for sin ( blood of Christ ) through faith , through the mediator Jesus Christ , of the priesthood of Melchisedec , to protect your first and second tabernacle , or body ? Twentieth and final question , it seem that there are three types of circumcisions ( 1. circumcision of the flesh of the foreskin , through the EVERLASTING covenant with Abraham ( ALL OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL LAWS/COMMANDMENTS ; WHICH INCLUDES ALL COVENANTS , ARE INSTRUCTIONS TO RIGHTEOUSNESS ; the change came through the sin sacrifices of the mediators ( Moses and Jesus Christ ) ; through a priesthood ( Leviticus and Melchisedec - PLEASE READ HEBREWS 7:11-28 ) ; 2. circumcision of flesh/body for sin through the mediator Moses , through the Leviticus priesthood ; and 3. circumcision of heart/spirit for sin through the mediator Jesus Christ , through the priesthood of Medchisedec ) : One circumcision is for the flesh of the foreskin , and two circumcisions are for sin . This may be the reason that Paul said this in Acts 13:38-39 , " Be it known unto you therefore , men and brethren , that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins : And by him all that believe are justified from all things , from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses . The sin sacrifices through the mediators ( Moses ; which was the animal sacrifices and oblations through works ; and Jesus Christ blood through faith ) are sometimes called the law of Moses , and the law of Christ . When we understand this , Peter statement of Paul's writings ( 2 Peter 3:15-16 ) will be clearer . PLEASE , NO NOT FORGET MOSES , DO NOT FORGET MOSES ; PROPHET LIKE UNTO JESUS . Moses as the mediator protected the flesh/body ; which Jesus Christ as the mediator protects the flesh/body and heart/spirit . Shalom !

Have you come across any verse or hadith in Islam or elsewhere, that gives any indication about a person going to hell or heaven immediately after death. Or does it happen on a prescribed time such as qayamat .

Could u please make video on people like Matthew and John etc. Who they actually were & there life and what does Christianity or even history say about them? Like in Hadith we know the chain of narrations and there is concept of Ismaa Al Rijaal which tells about the life style and character of narrator.

Yes, I love what Jesus said in Matthew 25 that salvation is more about how people treat their fellow human beings than faith. It is so simple. It means that anyone can have salvation regardless what they believe. Even if they don't believe in salvation ! That makes much more sense to me than salvation being almost accidental & dependent on which Country you were born or what your parents believed...both of which we all have no choice !
But in truth it is in many ways far harder to be kind & caring to others, particularly those you don't know, than simply saying that you have faith.

Thanks for the great job. May I humbly add that Peter, who also learnt from the great teacher (Jesus) also opines in corroboration to Christ's on the subject in Acts 10:34 ' ... that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him (i.e. God) and does what is right is acceptable to him...'

The analysis you constantly and elequently present us with is so precise, clear and undeniable ! It seems like in all the arguments you present, although you're clearly bending over backwards and succeeding in being impartial, Islam has the correct answers !!! Which leads me to the question: why aren't you Muslim ? I am sure convinced. And I, for the life of me, can't understand why you haven't ? Specially, in light of the fact that we're holding on to life with a string !! Best.

Reading James will give another perspective. In the end, it is the fruit that matters. As to Paul's teaching, I can understand it as well. For one to be able to perform genuine act of kindness, he must first be able to feel God's kindness towards him.

I understood that it was the doctrine of the Catholic Church that you could enter paradise through your deeds and even skip purgatory by paying for indulgences provided by the pope. The Lutheran protestant understanding was that the mercy of God was the most important prerequisite to enter paradise, a belief much closer to that of Islam.

    SERVE ALLAH WITH LOVE .

As humans we all make mistakes and often get distracted from the true path and thus accumulate sins. So no matter how hard we try to do good, we will still have some bad deeds recorded on our books. So ultimately, the mercy or clemency from the One and Only will save us. This concept of faith, good deeds and clemency seems complete.

“By the mercy of god” is especially interesting to me because if a situation arises where a man is ignorant of the truth (Jesus, Islam, etc.) and was taught or raised doing that which is detestable or not good (which is very common) so that he has neither faith nor acts, and dies on those deeds, how would he be judged? what would he be judged by/on?

Dear Sir, I have discovered your channel recently and I should admit that I am sincerely pleasured by your intellectual researchs and objective studies. May Allah bless you and appreciates your efforts.
Quran is guiding us about the judgement day and honestly I find it way more complicated than black or white type of classification. I mean if the messeage of God (previous scriptures or Quran or any unknown messenger (Quran says there is/was also unknown ones)) does not reach people, it is a diffferent case. If the message reach but the new revelations do not reach people, it is a different case. If the wrong or corrupted message reachs, it is a different case. But for sure only faith does not work. Only good deeds may work if people could not face the right faith but they should stay agnostic about God than. In that sense I also believe that for example a buddhist who stands agnostic or deist and if he is sincere and hardworking about goodness, if he does not associate partners to God, than it is possible to receive mercy and blessing from God. Believers (at least whom are not deniers or ones whom do not associate partners to one and only God) in the oneness of God and at the same time if they sincerely do right deeds will gain success obviously. Not the followers of corrupted sides of all monotheistic religions (incluiding Islam, false hadiths and stories which contrdicts with Quran), not the ones who buys slenders to all prophets and lias of hypocratic clergy. God knows best. Love from a muslim from Turkey.
Quran 2/62: (Those who believe (in the Qur´an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians(76),- any who believe in Allah and the Judgement Day, and work righteousness (do good deeds), shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve)

If you think about it as a purchase, trying to buy a spot in paradise, no amount of good deeds can pay for that, it is priceless, so it is ultimately after judgment and by the grace and mercy of Allah that one enters.

If we went with the Christian belief of ''Jesus was sacrificed for me'' this creates moral problems. If Jesus was supposedly crucified for you, that means you can do an evil act and dump it on someone else, stripping you of responsibility. If we compare it to Islamic belief, we believe that faith and work are necessary.

Matthew 25 reminded me quite a lot of the following Qudsi Hadith:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
Allah (mighty and sublime be He) will say on the Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam, I fell ill and you visited Me not. He will say: O Lord, and how should I visit You when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-and-so had fallen ill and you visited him not? Did you not know that had you visited him you would have found Me with him? O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you fed Me not. He will say: O Lord, and how should I feed You when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-and-so asked you for food and you fed him not? Did you not know that had you fed him you would surely have found that (the reward for doing so) with Me? O son of Adam, I asked you to give Me to drink and you gave Me not to drink. He will say: O Lord, how should I give You to drink when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: My servant So-and-so asked you to give him to drink and you gave him not to drink. Had you given him to drink you would have surely found that with Me.
    It was related by Muslim.

I think the hadith of Muhammed PBUH agrees with teaching of Jesus as Jesus said to the man do good deeds and follow me, following Jesus would be a way to believe in God and accordingly it is deeds and faith together that would lead us to salvation.
Mercy of God of course is a must but we must know that God is the most merciful and he would welcome all who believe in him and do good deeds in his heaven

  • @haikalsafrisam7818

    (Salvation)
(James 2:14-18) (KJV) “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”
James, the disicple of Jesus who eat and walk together himself said that faith without work is nothing.
    (Keep the commandments)
(Matthew 5:17-20) (KJV) “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
Jesus said for enter the kingdom of heaven, we must to follow all the commandments in the Old Testament and cannot break even one jot from the Old Testament.
    (Judging by work)
(Matthew 16:27) (KJV) “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
This verse is quite clear that Jesus will judge people according to his work which mean a person who do a good deed will be rewaded and a person who dont follow the commandment have to pay for his crime at the day of judgment.
