Ultimately yes, I get why they do this & have had pretty much all of those done to me by different dates at various stages. Phew, lots to say about this! I think having the resilience to pass these is essential to creating the foundations of a lasting relationship. One of my biggest hurdles out of all of them is passing the banter test. This happened to me once. I got stood up, tried to arrange another get together, and she cancelled at the last moment. I learned the hard way to dump them after the first instance.

If a lady is testing me by calling a date of 30 minutes before the date or not showing up at all, I'll never ever will respond to her with " ah, never mind, it's OK" because it is NOT OK. I did a lot of effort to make sure I would be on time, shower, dress nicely etc. So my point: I invest time in her / the date and if she cancels then she is not respecting me or the date. Of course it can happen that there was an emergeny. In that case, she couldn't help it and then I'm OK with it. And for the women: spoiler alert: if you think you women are the only ones who test guys, let me help you out of the dream. We guys test women also. This happened to me once. I got stood up, tried to arrange another get together, and she cancelled at the last moment. I learned the hard way to dump them after the first instance.
The mistake girls make sometimes is to think the relationship is all about them and their games. They disrespect a guy by cancelling a date suddenly and think it's okay because they are girls..right? Wrong! Thank God for the dump button. There are other better women out there.
The simple solution is to look at her in the eyes and say "I deserve better than you" and walk away without even a glance back. She will blow up your phone over the next week trying to figure out how her "test" backfired.
If they flake but immediately suggest another time I say no worries and then playfully say... but you're going to have to make it up to me now. But if they just flake without asking to set up another time, I still say no worries but just move on it happens sometimes. Women like men run hot and cold, no big deal, there is plenty of women out there. Not that it isn't disappointing sometimes but it's never worth getting worked up over.

I think it is a massive mistake for women to do the jealousy test. I get it, that women do not want to be with a controlling guy. Nobody wants to be with someone controlling.
