That was a great help! I learned how to do this a while ago, but your video really made it very easy!

Sowing is a true passion for you isn't it, how long have you been doing this?

Yes it is, I love it! I’ve been sewing by hand since I was little, but have only been seriously sewing and really loving it for about 7 years.

I like your idea of sewing a hand towel as the hood. But maybe use the entire hand towel and flip to attach from the opposite ends to make the hood longer.

Nikita, just wondering if all is well. I haven't gotten my Tuesday dose of "Drink and Sew Things" in some time. Sending thoughts your way.

Hey, been a long time, any recommendations for people just starting to sew?

😁 I would recommend an envelope pillow cover (which is my next video!) - that was my first project and helped me get to know my sewing machine. Tote bags are always good too! The best projects are ones that you like or that are useful to you - so if you have a dog maybe try a dog coat or if you know someone with a baby try making some bibs or burp clothes (also super easy!).

Hi Nikita! I can't do dairy either. Allergies. BUT! I found that almond milk on cereal tastes so much better than cow's milk. I will tell you that I won't just drink a glass of almond milk straight, cause I don't like the taste. Back to the video!

I miss making them! I’m dealing with some family stuff right now and haven’t had access to my sewing room or filming equipment. But hopefully I can start again soon! ♥️

@@drinkandsewthings4806 I've been missing you too. Just wanted to reach out. I'm praying for you. You are a great sewist and teacher. I'm going to use your pj video to make pj pants for my family.

Use a walking foot on your machine.

More sewing and less drinking. I think we all know how to drink.
