I love these pens myself! They are waterproof when dry so are great with watercolours but the edges repel watercolour, so consider putting them on top if you dislike this effect. Also they are India ink and melt in alcohol so it will make a horrible mess if you try to put copic or other alcohol markers on top. Of you use a very smooth or plastic paper you can blend them together and move the ink around longer before it dries. The paper matters; test them on all your papers! Just some things I discovered with them after getting a bunch and using them for a while. Great video thanks!
I know plenty of people probably say this, but stephs style would be so pretty in a children's book! It has such a fantasy look, and is so cute. Adams style is also beautiful, you can hardly tell he has only been drawing for 5 years (or soemthing like that) it looks as if he's been drawing most of his life. I guess it was just a born talent he had in him, he just had to work at it to make it a reality. But a lot of people have these kinds of hidden talents.

OH, I have the same sketchbook, the only difference is that mine is lemon yellow. I actually really like the paper and the little pocket in the back in convenient, because I use taped in pieces of paper to cover up markers bleeding through.

Happy Birthday! The pens have such awesome colors and the illustrations so cute! The caput mortuum color means "head of the dead" and originated from a pigment, that was made from grinded human mummies. It was very popular until the 17th or 18th century (?), but when artists learned, where it comes from, they stopped using it. So, there's an awkward part of history :) The color mummy brown has the same origin.
I've got a leuchtturm bullet journal which I use every day and it's great, doesn't hold alcohol markers well but I watercolour in it and it handles that well!
I had to look up caput mortuum and apparently its a term meaning "dead head" or "worthless remains" and was used in alchemy to mean the leftovers of an alchemical reaction.... but its also the pigment you get from hematite rust, otherwise called cardinal purple or caput mortuum! Happy Birthday, Steph!
I use the Leuchtturm notebooks! Not for sketching (I prefer to draw on loose papers, so I don't really have sketchbooks), but I use them all the time for my notes - I'm a med student and they're a good size to stick in your lab coat, plus they're cheaper and easier to find than Moleskins (at least where I live :) )
