I actually like Connecticut's representative.
The cool thing about California is there is no "best" vacation spot. There is literally something for everyone depending on your interests.
Shiny.Ruka honestly your so right! There is something for everyone wether you like cabins and forests, national parks, secluded beaches, big cities, small bits and pieces of the country, everything. The weather is always so chill too. Never extremely hot or cold compared like say Arizona or Alaska.
So.... I grew up in North Idaho where there is literally no Mexican... Anything. No bailes no jaripeos no nothing. So for my friends and me vacation was Pasco WA. Until I discovered Fresno CA which as far as I'm concerned is a freaking paradise..
San Diego though! Like the zoos, beaches, balboa park!

@@josephdavis1704 Only in the winter in the summer it's like 90 to 100 degrees every year. And the Oceans aren't that cold if you just stand in them for a bit also it's quite nice when the sand is burning hot and your sweating.

Finally! The representative actually got it right (kinda). The Michigan girl was acting unsure about her answer but the upper peninsula is actually really pretty and I love going up there.
She didn’t really sell it though. Yes, the UP is snowy in winter, but it’s beautiful in summer. We also have the Traverse Bay Area up north with vineyards and beaches. (At least she didn’t say Detroit, though!)
She also didn't say UP? Everyone here calls it the UP come on, we're trying to sell ourselves as our state XD
I’ve only really been in in UP during the winter and we had a blast there. It was feet of snow and we could make tons of structures. We stayed in a place in Powder-horn ski resort with a sauna and there are a lot of people who are proudly of Finnish descent. My nordic instincts turned on and we sat in the sauna all the time with water and we went and jumped in the snow afterwards.
She is always there as our representative I live in Michigan and I love the upper peninsula

i think the dells are one of those spots that there isn't much middle ground on~~you either love it or hate it. I kind of find it morbidly interesting but would rather be in a more chill spot like Viroqua or even Door Country.

The California guy forgot Santa Cruz! It has some of the biggest red wood trees, beautiful beaches that are perfect for surfing, and we have the boardwalk that is super fun! (I know there are definitely many more city’s but I just chose this one to add on)

WA: Seattle?! 😱 We are literally surrounded by & filled with mountains and beaches and all the islands of the puget sound and a whole entire peninsula covered in a RAINFOREST. We have a town that was revamped to be themed as a Bavarian village. We have a million festivals all over the place. We have a hugely diverse state when it comes to vacation options. Seattle itself has some touristy spots, but we have so much more to offer!

Bend, Oregon. The weather is warm and sunny in the summer, the Three Sisters, Mt. Thielsen, and Crater Lake are nearby. The forests and lakes are stupendous. Winter weather is very snowy and Mt. Bachelor is a great ski resort.

for az: go somewhere upstate like prescott or flagstaff, it snows in the winter and you can ski, and during the summer it doesn’t get too too hot. a lot of people go to sedona during the summer, they have lots of resorts, hiking trails, golf, rivers like slide rock...

xXKyra _ xoxoXx yes! i guess just being a native i forget about it all the time. there isn’t much to do there other than just *look* at the canyon, but in that area there’s a lot of really cool stuff about native american culture and history! i think the canyon is more fun if you don’t already live here though. plus, northern az is filled with those fun little towns that you can just have a great time simply walking around in. i always had the most fun in jerome.

MOA is just an oversized mall. It's an interesting place, but I wouldn't consider it a "vacation destination". Duluth and the North Shore on the other hand is a great place for a vacation with the waterfalls, hiking, and cliffs on Lake Superior.
