  • Build authority-and a loyal customer base-to boost your book sales.
    Branding probably wasn’t the first thing you considered when publishing your first low-content book-nor should it have been. When you’re first starting out you’re in experimentation mode, just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. But once you start gaining some traction and generating consistent sales, building a brand around your most successful books is a smart move.
    Successful branding speaks directly to the exact market you’re trying to reach and leaves a lasting positive imprint that fosters customer loyalty and encourages customers to return again and again for future purchases-meaning more sales over the long haul.
    While many people think branding is nothing more than a logo, color palette, and typography, it goes much beyond that. And that’s what we’re talking about today!

    Hi Rachel, thank you for this fantastic video! I've downloaded your free 3 step system to low content guide - thank you.
    I just had to tell you, as I previously worked as a legal typist, that there is a typo in your copy.
    I hope you don't mind me pointing this out.
    It's at the bottom of page 3, last paragraph, 2nd line, 1st word "fist" should read "first".
    I hope you are not offended with me mentioning this.

    Hi Rachel! I love your content! I was wondering would it be more beneficial to build your book brand on etsy or on Amazon?

    I have had an idea for a brand name and logo for some time now and I am ready to proceed to the first step. It's not something for KDP, although it could very well be a book brand, as well as other merchandise and is something that could be sold on Amazon. I secured a domain name a couple of years ago but haven't made a web site yet. My question to you is; how do I protect my brand logo and name. Do I need to register it or get a copyright?
    Thanks,
    Robert
    P. S. You're beautiful !

    Thank you for this video. I want to make a logo in Canva and your Canva logo video mentions making it into an EPS vector file. Do you still recommend that or just download it as a print PDF or something else? Thanks!!

      Hi Michael! You should download a PNG (preferably with a transparent background) or a JPG, rather than a PDF. Vector files (EPS, SVG) are preferable to JPGs and PNGs for logos because they are scalable and won't have a white background. But if you don't have a vector editing program to use to convert your logo into a vector file, just use the PNG with a transparent background or the JPG that you downloaded from Canva.

    I searched you on anazon and did not find your lcb. I imagine you are publishing with another name. What is the name of your brand?

    • @RachelHarrisonSund
      @RachelHarrisonSund  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I keep all my low-content book brand names private to protect them from copyright infringement, which I've had many issues with over the years.

      @delaslight 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@RachelHarrisonSund ok🙂 i surely respect your privacy ☺️ now i have another question though: would you make a video about how to do that (legally, amazon contract, etc)? Because i am intending to start producing lcb too, with two different brand names and keep them private too🙂 so your response was exactly what i want to learn and i think a vid on this topic would be helpful for many of us. Thank you 😊
