Yes that's right,, a missionary Watkin Roberts came spreading the gospel to the head hunters of the tribal in North East India,,, Senvon by name,,, but we studied and it hurt's emotionally knowing churches were closed in Wales due to lack of people to attend,, we keep praying to God to revive the Revival in Wales once again

He saved me from new age/occultist practices recently (my logo will be changed ASAP😬) I wasn’t even looking for God, I was looking for the truth of what is happening in the world and it led me to Him and His Word.
I had such conviction of the deception and what I was actually in communication with, I burned my tarot cards and books, smashed my Buddha statues and threw my crystals and singing bowl in the river. I was just crying and praying to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and Jesus of Nazareth, begging for forgiveness and protection from what I had let in me and near me and my son.
He covered me with His protection and love, I felt the whole room change, and He wouldn’t let the other side have me, even though it felt like I was being physically pulled from both sides. The fire even went out... this was all when I had just thrown the cards and things on the fire. After a while continuing praying and crying I felt peace. I relit the fire and all of the things burned.
I haven’t ever subscribed to the idea of the biblical God, I was following Pagan/Norse/New age/Spiritual philosophy type belief systems.
It’s so true that He chooses those who people would least expect to share His Word ❤️
I can’t even tell you how completely different I am in just weeks. He has even sealed off parts of my mind that I had opened up to ‘channeling spirit guides’ etc.
Praise you Yeshua! Thank you LORD for your Almighty power and long suffering love for us, your sacrifice for us was the most beautiful thing anyone could ever do.
I pray that The Holy Spirit come upon those who are lost and blind, that He may lift the scales from their eyes and show them The Truth.
My great Uncle Robbie was saved in the Welsh revival. He became a missionary to the US and met and married my Great Aunt. All of her sisters became believers including my Great Grandmother. My Grandmother was raised as a believer, she raised my mom to know God. My Parents became missionaries to Indonesia. I’m a believer today along with my children and that can all be traced to that initial “seed”. Praise Yehovah for his wonderful work!

Such a beautiful prayer. 💗 What I've been learning from studying different revivals is that all it takes is the spirit of God to move and one faith Christ-follower to listen. In the Welsh revival it was Evan Peters, in America during the Jesus Movement it was minister Chuck Smith. I'm believing and praying along side you not only that revival will come, but that you will indeed be our next agent, and I will be faithful in doing my part to bring about change. Can I by any chance get your name? When people start saying it was this faithful Christ-follower who brought about revival I would like to be able to say I had the opportunity to pray for them. ☺️

My grandfather was a child in Wales at this time. He was my favourite person when I was a child. It was because of him singing songs to me that I knew about Jesus. I became born again not long before he went home. At his funeral the Holy Spirit filled me with His peace so I knew he made it there! And his mates from his male voice choir singing at the back of the crew just touched my soul. Bring on revival all over the world Lord 🙏

We Need a restoration of the Church of Christ as it was in the first century. Not the modern prosperity Gospel that makes Multi Millionaire psudo Christs out of the Megachurch Charismatic Movement. One can not revive something that is dead and a false Gospel that we see in the Modern faith healing Charismatic movement. We need to return to the purity of the old Paths and return to true faith and Worship in Jesus Christ which we read about in the new testament. In the Old Testament, the prophets of God pleaded over and over again for the Jews to "return to the old paths". They never ever pleaded or prayed for "Revival". This word is a made up word that is used by modern pastors that has no meaning in the Old or new testaments. The problem in the old and new testaments was not seeking revivals, but pleading for a return to the purity of God's word and the Teachings of his son as revealed in the apostles teachings (new testament). We need to pray for a restoration of pure christian faith in Jesus Christ, and not a revival of false teaching and worship from the multi millionaire magachurch pastors and archbishops!!

When the jews fell away, God sent prophets who preached a restoration of the truth. Today we need a restoration of the Gospel of Christ, where we speak where the bible speaks and we are silent where the bible is silent.

My Spirit is excited hearing this account. This is my direct spiritual root. This was my beginning. My first encounter was when I was 2yrs old. My mother was going to a Baptist church in Australia. A group of really old people from whales were my spiritual family. They would have personally been in those revivals. I loved to sit with them when they prayed. I was born again at 6 yrs. These 6 married couples were my spiritual parents. This account excites me for that reason. This Welsh revival was still having affect in my life. This brings it back Now! 2020! Amen this is my roots!

Lord Jesus Christ, we need revival in Africa. As one of the writers had said, a revival that brings true repentance from sins and all evil acts.
🔥 The Holy Spirit moved upon my great, great, great grandparents who lived in Aberdare during the 1859 Revival. They moved to America in the 1860s and were faithful to Christ their entire lives. I expect to see them someday and try to be faithful to their examples and commitment.

That’s merely your interpretation though. It’s subjective based on your own assumption of what that passage could possibly mean. Not based on an objective biblical hermeneutic.

Types and shadows or symbols in scripture have a clear objective interpretation though. We know that the lamb is Christ who would become the lamb of God who would take away the sin of the world, for example. Or that the Church is seen as the bride of Christ.
The 2 Chronicles passage was specifically for Israel not the Church. You can not transplant specific directives for Israel who were in rebellion and wicked and apply that to the Church that is holy and the one that Christ presents to the father without spot or blemish. A proper biblical hermeneutic is not subject to ones imagination. If that’s the case Biblical truth is relative truth, which isn’t truth at all. It loses all meaning.Read the proceeding verses and the subsequent verses and you will get the context. God is responding to Solomon after having completed the temple.
So 2 Chronicles 7:14 is in no way applicable to the Church.

Your words are wise and scriptural. Christianity today by and large are lovers of selves and in western Christianity God is treated as a supplier of wants vs a holy God to love and serve and in turn love and serve others through the spread of the gospel.

Interesting how all the revivals seem to have started in one of the 'Celtic' places: Ireland, Wales or Scotland.
America had a revival called the great awakening in 1844 . The Millerite movement .
There was also a great revival in northeastern part of India in 1906 And 2006
Early 1900's , China had a revival and then the demonic Boxer Rebellion happened and some missionaries martyred! Many revivals all over the world in the early 1900's!

Matthew 6:25-33... Matthew 6:33... 1Timothy 6:6-7
Often when we confront people with the fact that they are serving mammon, they reply, “We have to pay the bills.” That’s when we see what it means not to take thought, or ask, “What shall we eat?” If working a job to pay the bills in living by faith, then all the world is living by faith - that’s exactly how the“nations of the world” (Luke 12:29-31) get their needs met. They serve mammon. They work their jobs, get their pay, and buy their needs “For after all these things do the Gentiles seek.” (Matt. 6:31-32). If an unbeliever works for a bank, isn’t he serving mammon? If he isn’t, then what does the phrase “serving Mammon” mean? And if he is serving mammon, then isn’t his co-worker who professes to be a Christian serving mammon as well?
Another statement that is often made concerns passages in the New Testament that refer to believing masters and servants (e.g., Eph. 6:5-9.) Some say that this applies to an employer-employee relationship. Upon reading it, however, we find it is speaking about masters and servants, not business associates. We know the will of Elohiym was that the servants should be made free, for Paul himself wrote that if a servant was able to obtain freedom, then he should do so (1Cor. 7:21.) Indeed, he emphasized this point by saying, “Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.” (1 Cor. 7:23) Evidently at that time some circumstances were such that it was not always possible for a servant to be made free; but such is of course not the case now. Obtaining freedom from an employer is accomplished simply by quitting. In fact, some take the liberty to do this as soon as they find a higher paying job.
Matt. 11:28-30 - There is a rest available for those who are weary of laboring for the meat that perishes. Let us get away from being yoked together with unbelievers (2 Cor. 6:14-18), and take His yoke upon us - do His work. Very few who profess to know Yeshua are willing to take His yoke upon them. They have no interest in submitting to Adonai, nor to those who have the rule over us (“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” Heb. 13:17) They do, however, obey diligently the voice of their employers; and this is neither out of love nor respect for them, but to receive the paycheck (money). “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” (1 Tim. 6:10) Multitudes every day are submitting themselves, compromising their convictions and bowing down (in a sense) to cater to the whims of their bosses and patrons.
By obeying Yeshua’s Word and taking His yoke upon us, we receive a blessed rest for our souls. Working for this anti-Christ society is not a blessing; it’s actually a judgment:
Habakkuk 2:13- Note this is “of Yahveh”; it’s a judgment sent from Him. So many people are spending their lives in an effort to keep their lives going. But the promise to those who seek first His kingdom and righteousness is that what they need will be added unto them - not lots of riches, but enough food and raiment to get by so we can keep on seeking Him first.
Ecclesiastes 2:26 - Elohiym gives this judgment to sinners. If they reject His yoke, they get this one: hard labor. A thirty year mortgage, for example is basically a sentence.
Be it noted that in the days before the flood the world was making provisions for the flesh while Noah was preaching and working out his salvation. (2 Pet 2:5; see also Luke 17:26-29: “...they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded.”) Many do not choose to do Elohiym’s work because they are system-addicts. The system is their god, and thus it would be unthinkable for them to look to anyone but the system for their needs. Man cannot always help us, however. Consider all the money that has been appropriated for AIDS: how many people do you know that have been healed by that means? Consider as well the flood of ‘93: all the Corps. Of engineers and money sent from Washington couldn’t stop it. This has long been a device of man: throw money at problems as a solution.
The Scriptures make it known to us that conforming and being unwilling to stand out and stand up is a manifestation of not having the Spirit (see Acts 1:8). The exhortation to Christians is not to seek to be a friend of the world (James 4:4). Rather, the means by which we are able to be called Elohiym’s peculiar people is by obtaining the grace to be zealous of good works, unspotted by their ways (see Titus 2:11-14 and James 1:27).
We can testify of the truth of His promises. We hold no jobs, own what we can carry, and make with our own hands what we need (or trade for it, or find it, etc.) We have no permanent address, solicit no funds, take zero government money, and have no one supporting us by working for the world. Yet we always have what we need; Elohiym provides for us in all sorts of ways plus heals all our sicknesses.
Let us remember that the Scripture warns about serving the creature more than the Creator (Romans 1:25.) Many are worshiping the god of self, catering to the lusts of their flesh. Brother John wrote that we should keep ourselves from idols (1John 5:21.) Yeshua asked, “Lovest thou Me more than these?” (John 21:15) This is the key. A greater love for Adonai would surely help many to start to serve Him, rather than just honoring Him with their lips. There is need of the fire of the Holy Ghost in the lives of many, that they might be His witnesses (see Acts 1:8: “And ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me....”) Fire has a nature of releasing energy. Of course this energy from the Spirit is to be for His service, not for us to serve ourselves and prosper in our will.
It is obvious that society, or the world as the Scriptures call it, is in a very horrible state. Some are aware of this, and yet are not willing to take a stand against it as Yeshua did and taught. They just float downstream compromising with the system in order to get by. The Scriptures call us out of all that, exhorting us to be separate from sin and have no part in it: “Come out of her, My people.” (Rev. 18:4) Those who are willing to go out of the camp, bearing His reproach (Heb. 13:13) will find that there’s really not much else worth doing besides His work.

Actually regarding work God invented it and blesses His people in society working as long as they are not doing immoral jobs like stealing or running porn shops etc. Grocers bankers teachers of math mechanics salespeople etc are some of the many jobs Christians do and God uses them there and blesses them in their lives if they honor Him in their work by respecting the company's rules.
@@khappy1286 Often when we confront people with the fact that they are serving mammon, they reply, “We have to pay the bills.” That’s when we see what it means not to take thought, or ask, “What shall we eat?” If working a job to pay the bills in living by faith, then all the world is living by faith - that’s exactly how the“nations of the world” (Luke 12:29-31) get their needs met. They serve mammon. They work their jobs, get their pay, and buy their needs “For after all these things do the Gentiles seek.” (Matt. 6:31-32). If an unbeliever works for a bank, isn’t he serving mammon? If he isn’t, then what does the phrase “serving Mammon” mean? And if he is serving mammon, then isn’t his co-worker who professes to be a Christian serving mammon as well?
Another statement that is often made concerns passages in the New Testament that refer to believing masters and servants (e.g., Eph. 6:5-9.) Some say that this applies to an employer-employee relationship. Upon reading it, however, we find it is speaking about masters and servants, not business associates. We know the will of Elohiym was that the servants should be made free, for Paul himself wrote that if a servant was able to obtain freedom, then he should do so (1Cor. 7:21.) Indeed, he emphasized this point by saying, “Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.” (1 Cor. 7:23) Evidently at that time some circumstances were such that it was not always possible for a servant to be made free; but such is of course not the case now. Obtaining freedom from an employer is accomplished simply by quitting. In fact, some take the liberty to do this as soon as they find a higher paying job.
Matt. 11:28-30 - There is a rest available for those who are weary of laboring for the meat that perishes. They have no interest in submitting to Adonai, nor to those who have the rule over us (“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” Heb. 13:17) They do, however, obey diligently the voice of their employers; and this is neither out of love nor respect for them, but to receive the paycheck (money). “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” (1 Tim. 6:10) Multitudes every day are submitting themselves, compromising their convictions and bowing down (in a sense) to cater to the whims of their bosses and patrons.
By obeying Yeshua’s Word and taking His yoke upon us, we receive a blessed rest for our souls. Working for this anti-Christ society is not a blessing; it’s actually a judgment:
