i quit my job... i'm scared.

- As most of you know, for years I've been debating quitting my job to get back to running my photography business full-time. Over the past couple of years I feel into a space of complacency, then laziness, then just outright fear... that was until I lost my mom in 2022. I decided that I was no longer going to run from what I'm passionate about and it took me a whole year to gain the courage to quit, but now I have officially quit my job to walk in my creative passion.
Today I'm sharing a vulnerable look at what it feels like to have quit my job without a plan.

I’m so thrilled for you. I just resigned! Like 2 hours ago. I feel you to the core!! I’m terrified walking away from what I’ve established. The reality is I have nothing left to give! I’m uninspired and unmotivated. I just feel like it’s the season for miracles and God is moving. Times are changing and it’s time to live for a living and not work for a living. We have to operate in purpose. I’m so proud of you. Keep that bravery in it’s you on this journey. I’m wishing you nothing but the best!

Right! It's something about actually holding it and seeing it that just makes me feel invincible.
I am absolutely, positively, unequivocally so damn proud of you. Life absolutely is far too short to not live your best life and pursue your God given gifts. We are not put here to be slaves to what others think we should do or to just get paychecks to pay bills and just get by. I want you to do EVERYTHING God is calling you to do. You have not thrown any time away. Everything is a process. You have to trust yourself and understand that you are doing everything that you are supposed to do in the timing that you are supposed to do it. You could not have expanded higher mentally without going through this process. Nothing lasts forever and in order to get to the next phase of life, you have to leave past things behind. It is always scary to do something divergent, but you will never know the amazing things that are waiting for you if you keep playing it safe. You got this. I understand just how you feel. When you keep waking up feeling drained and annoyed with your current self you have to bust a move. I promise so many great things have been waiting on you. I love this for you. keep winning!!!
Ahhhhh sister, you're going to make me cry! You're so very right! We all owe it to ourselves to go after the things we want and I have to remember to trust the process. I couldn't let another day pass being in a position where I was undervalued, underpaid and unappreciated for the sake of "stability" when I know there's more for me! Thank you for the confirmation. Congrats! I've been wanting to do the same. Sounds like you made a wise choice by following your inner voice (or rather God's leading :). When the passion, drive, and fulfillment are no longer there it's definitely time to move on.

I also left a corporate job with no plan because I was not happy at the last but now I’m in another corporate job but know that I still need to save to launch my own business in the future. So for now I’ve started my TH-cam channel mostly through my quitting my job experience and you have inspired me to keep on my journey and eventually I’ll be my own business owner 🙏🏼 sending blessing to you on your journey
