- EPISODE 1: DARK BLADE FALLING
Pilot episode. The WildC.A.T.S are introduced as they attempt to recruit the last member of their team: Reno Bryce, the computer expert and unwitting descendant of the Kherubim. But the Daemonites are after Reno as well. The WildC.A.T.S rescue Reno from the Daemonites and unleash his powers as Warblade. But Warblade is not yet ready to become a WIldCAT - a fact which Helspont uses to his advantage, capturing the WildC.A.T.S and attempting to destroy Void. Only Warblade, finally realizing the importance of fighting the Daemonite menace, can possibly save his newfound teammates.

I remember when I first watched this my uncle had to explain that this was a comic book and how the show was ways different. At the time I was probably 5 plus I didn’t know how to read at the time. Dang the 90’s back when things were simpler

This show was like a fever dream. A childhood memory of something I wasn't really sure I experienced. So happy I stumbled onto this.
I remember watching this as a kid and I found it so cool. And since then Wild C.A.T.S remains my all time favorite superhero team. Somebody should really buy it from DC and do some justice to that awesome I.P.
Does DC own them? Because they were part of Image when it first started up.
@@DanFloresII Yes, DC owns them now since they bought it from Jim Lee. But Wild C.A.T.S won't really shine again since they're not taken as priority and A-list characters there. Additionally, they don't mix well with the rest of the DCU.

1990s also was a glorious era for space games on PC.
Never got to see this, but it still brings me back, X-Men, Aeon Flux, Spider-Man, Spawn and Batman TAS were my favourite animated series's from that time. Loved watching this.

I had so many back issues of this comic, it’s crazy! Always loved the original Wildstorm characters, hopefully James Gunn and DC do them justice on the big screen.
Well, I'm actually quite worried about what James Gunn would do to Wild C.A.T.S....

There needs to be a new show in the near future, would be awesome to see this team back in action in a new style
At one point, the arrowverse looked into adapting them, that's why Spartan was the codename for one, but then plans changed to go a different way instead with him(b/c of developing movie plans on the DCEU Cyborg was offlimits, so Spartan was our work around & exploring Team7+the coda & more. That's why Grifter was part of the new 52 relaunch, back then was when discussions of Arrow doing an episode with Grifter would happen. Same to why Flash made a cameo in Vodoo. But then all those plans for arrowverse got scrapped, with only "Spartan" remaining.
Well I finally broke my streak after all these years by seeing an episode of Wildcats.
The closest I've ever come see this cartoon is watching the closing credits back in the days on a few occasions.

I was 35 when this came out in 1994. It is a similar style of animation like the X Men had.

I remember watching this when I was a little kid but at the same time I never paid much attention to the plot of the story which isn't surprising because my memory wasn't the best at that time.

I remember watching Jim on a TV show 1993. I was in the studio with other Wildstorm artists, and the TV show was from LA. It was a pop culture show with a panel that included Elivs Mitchell. Elvis scoffed at Jim labeling Voodoo as an, "exotic dancer", saying that she was a stripper. Jim kept trying to defend his choice of words, but it got sad quickly.
Jim Lee Scott Williams Brandon Choi they all created a great book.👍🏻 I still have wildcats books. Only 5-6 then I stopped collecting because Lee went back to marvel with liefeld to do heroes reborn 🙄 lol...cool cartoon, Saturday mornings CBS channel 2 nyc

Fun fact: Lord Helspont's name has nothing to do with hell (let alone with Spawn). He is named after the Hellespont, today better known as the Dardanelles or the Strait of Gallipoli.
WildC.A.T.s is full of references to Ancient Greece.
Even though I was born in 96, I used to watch this in the early 2000s on cable on demand. The intro song is so iconic lol

Used to love this show as a kid
i knew it was a Saturday morning cartoon, but i was a bit disenchanted with the series. i was collecting the comics before the series was ever produced. i hoped it would have been scripted a bit less generic than your average super team cartoon around that period, do to the comics rating being T+. The same goes for Savage Dragon's cartoon. If these programs originally premiered on HBO(like Spawn)I believe the content would have been closer to it's comic book forerunner. But I'll admit that i watched all of the image and Malibu comics related shows lasting one season. And i stayed purchasing the action figures, which sadly were stolen from my apt. during a burglary...along with my Japanese 1990's era DBZ import figures 😖
Man, this brings back some great memories! I loved this series back in the day. Now I gotta look and see if anyone has uploaded Savage Dragon. Thanks for this nostalgia trip!

Now days this kind of progression in this episode takes a season... that releases in two parts over two years..
that's called needless back and forth drama without much plot development. actually female viewers like drama with slow plots if you didn't know.

Fascinating animation. I did not know this one. Curiously, the "Void" character remind me the mother android in the series "Raised by Wolves" even her flying stance is the same.
This was a great animated show, I was so sad they only made one season of it.

It's x-men with biker mice voices, wild. That pole parkour followed by the chicks takedown was the kinda animation I like.
