Can we theorize that the bony mass of hip impingement can decrease in size? As a 73 year-old guy with hip impingement, I wonder if Paul's success came from "motion is lotion" and the body-brain continually noticing the impingement while staying away from significant inflammation.

Excellent!! This is exactly my problem. MRI says severe arthritis so I thought that's why I can't open legs. I've been doing this movement for a month and it has helped. It does cause a lot if soreness if I go too far.

So pinching in the pidgeon pose can just mean , do more work on short range hip flexors?...interesting watching that, every night I watch tv and put my knee up and push into internal and external rotation...my range on both was pretty abysmal (has improved) , wasn't sure if it was helping or not,been a year and a half.

What advise would you give if ones right leg while laying on your back is stiff to bend it to your chest. Also I have trouble bending down to my right side to pickup something g from floor or unable to bend leg to put on socks or tie my shoe. I have been told i have osteoarthritis in my right hip side. Hoping you can answer my plea...thks
Your symptoms are the same as mine. Although I've never been diagnosed with hip impingement by a professional, my substantial "online education" confirmed it.

I already have the hip program but i was also looking to get the back program, do they go well together? Do programs work well together? Or is it too much work?
You could conceivably do it, but there would be a lot of doubling up of lower body work which might not be ideal. For most people I wouldn't recommend trying to do two at once.
