When you're are in this region, not buying food from locals is criminal! You can get fantastic dairy products - just look what are those animals eating! there is no pollution for hundreds of km around. And home made smoked or dried meat is to die for!

Sweet video! Looks amazing! Did you have any problems getting border permits because of COVID-19? I want to hike this trail this summer! Could you stay in the villages? Or camping required

We had no problems. We submitted application forms as described here www.peaksofthebalkans.com/Cross-Border-Procedures, but no one answered us. Then we just printed them out and took them with us in case someone stopped us to check. We stayed in locals twice, in other cases we used a tent and placed it wherever we wanted.
can you share more details, what is the best time of the year for the hike, how many days to go through the entire journey? is there guest house along the way so we don't have to camp out? thanks.

Hi Samanta) We used mobile app mapy.cz for navigation. We had offline maps, powerbanks, solar battery and we bought a SIM-card of local operator for internet the first day we arrived. It was easy.
what do you use for navigation? what do you suggest/tips as guided tour is a bit pricy. thank you
Hi, did you make the official 10-day track? There is always food to buy throughout the itinerary, and do you know how much it costs to sleep and eat in a local house? I hope to do it this June, regards
Hi. No, just a part. We have not been to Kosovo. We spent one night in Vusanje at the ROSI hotel, it cost about 30 euros per night. One more night in Plav it cost about 25 euros. Food prices are normal there. You can buy food on the way, but it is better to have a supply for at least 2 days)
Hi, it is amazing. What parts is possible ridding in Mountain Bike?
Hi. It's difficult to judge because I have never had a mountain bike. Some times the way is flat and wide, but in most cases is narrow, with fallen trees, thick high grass and big stones that you need to climb to go further. Couple of times we lost a way because it's just disappeared at some moment. I think this track is not good for bike riders.
