yamaha bb434, flatwounds, bridge pickup, tone around 10%. recorded directly into audio interface.
other bb434 examples:
jerry (pickups are blended, a bit more bridge heavy, and tone is around 50%)
• jerry (not the seinfeld)
greta (both pickups full, tone around 90%)
• greta (born)
edgar (neck pickup only, tone around 50%. the bass in in this was eq’d in an attempt to better seat it in the mix. i am however the worst mixer, so the tone is not the best representation)

Thanks Bob! I do not find this bass to be very heavy. Regarding the balance, if standing, with a strap, the balance is good. If sitting, without a strap, there is neck dive.
