In my humble opinion, this film was far and away Sean Connery’s finest work in his entire career. Lorraine Bracco is also stunning. I have never understood why this film was completely overlooked in nearly every discussion of Sean Connery including his obituary. The message in this film remains powerful, if not more so, in today’s post-COVID world. It is nothing less than literature on film. Thank you, Sean and Lorraine.

I think it's a 10 for sure. One of Goldsmith's best score's.
