DarkHorse is 500 HP and 418 FT LB of torque. I'm thinking the DarkHorse would be nice to have, But for that extra $20k-$30k You can buy a GT model with upgrades from the dealership like supercharged or turbos with over 650-700HP and still come in at a price lower than the DH. Just my opinion. Only thing you won't have is the DarkHorse badging.

Now, The DarkHorse S, Or DarkHorse R models might end up with 700 HP, Yet neither one of those models are street legal as they are specifically designed for racing, Including a new Ford only race class. But hey, It's ok to have your opinion, As I have mine although it is per Ford's announcement, But All I will say is we will see when the car is released for sale. There are videos released with false numbers everywhere, Pretty sure it's for click bait to get more views, But I'm pretty sure The number that Ford's lead designer of the S650 released will be the number people should expect, And not be let down when it doesn't give a 700HP spec on the info sheets at purchase.

I’ve always have had way better results with the Ford engine platform, especially the 351-Cleveland vs Chevy. My nephew is killing the Ls guys on the streets with a NA 418-W.
It's a beautiful car. I'm seventy years old. I still appreciate such a beautiful car. I'd actually love to have it except for one reason. It's just way, way to high tech for me. I'd have no use for over 95% of the things this car can do. I have a 2011 Crown Victoria with over 135,000 miles on it. And it's too high tech for me.
All great and all except the one screen display wither ford or any other manufacturer it just became a clear laziness to design the interior. Most recent cars you can notice just one big screen where clearly it just doesn’t go well with interior design

so its basically maxed out, it has a little headroom for customization but ford basically did all the work. the most you could squeeze is probably 1000-2000 hp, electric will still be more powerful.
