There was Mystery House around that time, but it wasn't in a museum. Most games then were text adventures like Zork, not graphic games(or really rudimentary ones in best case).

Okay, Mutahar. Here's the low-down on how to beat this game. You literally have to watch some of the actors! From time to time they will advance the story and tell you that they're changing the code. They'll LITERALLY say what the new code is; YOU NEED THAT CODE! Other than that, watch the colored bar. RED = mash that button to capture! If you look at a walkthrough (not sure if you have, or haven't) it'll tell you the exact times when things happen. I know you may think that the plot is cringy, but unfortunately you have to look at it to be able to know the color code change.
