Nah dude u said the Wii be emulating GameCube but that ain’t true. The Wii just plays GameCube games natively. Emulating GameCube on a Wii would be insane and likely perform terribly, if even possible at all.
Small nitpick but the Wii doesn’t emulate GameCube. It actually has GameCube hardware on board. Emulation uses a lot more resources which is why emulated N64 games have some issues on Wii while GameCube works flawlessly. Great vid tho!

wii u is the king of emulation lol. literally everything the wii can do plus the wii U. the wii does not emulate gamecube. the wii hardware is backwards compatible with the GCN.
Spectacular underrated video! Only thing I want to point out is that the Wii U isn't risky to mod anymore as Nintendo shut down the servers and isn't running bans on it because they're focusing on the Switch. Extremely underrated channel, dropping a sub!
A modded wii u meets pretty much every point you made on your video, but a little bit better. You get more controller options as well as the old ones, Emulation is almost the same story, but you can play on the gamepad.And another point to mention is funky Scott is even better with the wii u.
The wii U is 10 x better imo. It can do everything the Wii can, plus play wii u games, and wii u exclusive homebrew. Hell, some fan made wii ports are better on wii U (sonic mania comes to mind, the bonus levels run better on wii U) 3:10 also, nintendo won't ban your Wii U. Thats just not true, and even if the did, the servers are shut down anyways, there is nothing to ban you from.
I don't just know if that's my wii but i could not recommend a wii for emulation. It seems that the homebrew codes is often bad on the wii platform. Theses homebrew crashes a lot.
You actually can go online with a modded switch as long as you arent actively running cfw, and wiiu is shut down so you can do whatever you want now. But otherwise correct
Mupen64 is outdated. Wii64 kept improving from what mupen was and then Not64 picked up where wii64 left off. Update to Not64. Only issues I find are texture issues for the most part
@@DougandAK As a Not64 user, even I don't find the Wii a great way to emulate N64 games, while some games do like like Super Mario 64, other games like Pokemon Stadium just don't work perfectly, even when you change some settings up you get still get audio issues, images just failing to load properly, slow animation, it's not a bad means to play N64 games per say, but it's definitely not the *best* form.
