I love the dirty, battle-hardened, somewhat ragtag look of the US infantry in this movie. I don't know how historically accurate it is, but it looks cool regardless.
Not very accurate for the April 1945 setting. US infantry would have been issued new uniforms before the final push into Germany. But yea, this is more of "rule of cool" action movie than a historical movie.
My great grandfather was a WW2 veteran. He said the tracer bullets made the battle look like Christmas fireworks. This movie clearly overdid it with tracer bullets. It feels like there are no other types of bullets here.
the movie's sound design is tricking you into thinking the m1919a4 .30 is shooting slow. but in reality the amount of visual tracer rounds being shown is accurate. In a belt you would have 1 tracer round for every 5 bullets. When fired it feels like you are shooting only tracers due to the rate of fire

While the Last stand was over the top same with the tank battle, this movie was really entertaining. Don’t get the hate. It gives us a interesting glimpse into WW2

Yeah people love to pick this movie apart but I feel like they nailed the late war 1945 atmosphere

“Fuck you, jerries” after sending a shell into a basement..,was such a good addition to the dialogue.
That's what 'Willy Peter'[White Phosphorus]is for.
Ooh. Is that what white phosphorus is called?

the hollywood plot armor is insane 😭😭😭😭🙏🙏
Yeah even an easy eight can’t bounce of an AP round from a pak40 from that range lol

Not just plot armor, but giving orders the long ironic way and joking back when fractions of a second cost people's lives. Like WTF movie boy?
War doesn’t determine who is right, only who is left.

War is not human nature. It is a deeply rooted tribalistic response which we have successfully fooled ourselves into thinking is human nature.
In this context, your comment should be considered nat see sympathizing

No it's not! Not this planet!
I'm sure that sounded smarter in your head.

It doesn't miss it bounces off the tanks frontal plate, which is still insanely unlikely.
