You should watch The 100. He’s not a main character, but the show is still really good. He gets more screen time during the third season.
Juliani has narrated the Sci Fi novel Solaris.
He was incredible in Battlestar Galactica. He starts out as a fairly minor character but has an incredible arc throughout the 4 seasons. One of the many best parts of that show.
A audiobook related to detective and stuff will be awesome

Spoilers!!!: There's something about L's death that was different than any other character death. I watched it back when I was eleven and now I'm almost eighteen, and it still, legitimately, hurts. Like, an actual sadness. His death scarred me. Lmfao, I'm forever disturbed, I think.

Now that I think about it... That is brilliant, the world was never the same since L was killed, Kira's "New World" all just became a WORD and nothing more, he thought that eliminating L would be a huge stepping stone into that perfect new world Utopia, but it ended up quite the opposite, would've been smarter of him to leave L the fuck alone or even better wish that he was never born.

This guy has the most beautiful voice i ever heard. And to be honest, Smallville brought me here. I'm watching it right now and it didn't take me long to realize that the guy who plays Dr. Emil Hamilton has the voice of L.
Alessandro Juliani did L sooooo good, he really brought his character to life and he really put his all in it as an actor. In a lot of animes, I feel like a lot of them sound generic but L was the most interesting anime character I’ve ever watched despite how “boring” looking he is. Don’t get me wrong, the other voice actors do their characters good too, it’s just that L was the most consistent for me. I constantly caught myself just wanting more L scenes and that’s bc of how good Alessandro’s acting was.
I freaked out when I found out death note was only one season and I have watched all of it in one weekend I'm now rewatching it
I watched it all in 2 days I stayed up till 2:00am I thought it would be like 10 seasons and L would be there but he DIEEEEDDDDD too soon :c
I mean yeah it's technically one season but it's like three seasons' worth of episodes 😂

We unknowingly got attached to L...my brother was telling me the spoilers before me watching the anime, that time when he said that L died I wasn't that affected but when I watched the series myself which was around 2 years ago, I still cry over his death and I really can't accept that he is no more....🥺🥺
I feel like the dubbing for this show was handled much more differently than anime nowadays. The behind the scenes has a very different tone and energy behind it. I can’t put my finger on it.
Well for once, the people involved are professionals. And there isn't any influence from the higher ups who know nothing about the industry.
These days, the "voice actors" anime dubbing companies hire are amateurs or people who were formerly those same amateurs solely because they kept doing more anime work.
Why? Because they costs less to hire and pay. They no longer get people who went to acting school or have had been professional voice acting experience.
Each person in that studio is a professional in their craft. You got professional directors who were educated to do this, you got professional translators, editors, etc.
But these days? It's mostly amateurs, again due to cost. It costs more to hire those professionals, so we get the off-putting low quality dubs we do today that we're just used to.
Notice how CARTOONS have great voice acting, directing, scripts, etc. Why? Because the studio pays big money to hire PROFESSIONALS.
You don't ever notice criticisms for voice acting in cartoons or games, only ANIME dubs.

Light and L's dub voice is iconic, it's a shame they couldn't play more roles.
Most anime dubs are cringe without actually great VA like these people...

+Fluffy Pug very risky... but whatever, could work or pay off, Willem defoe thought was a great choice, not familiar with natt, but woulda loved to see a voice actor (a great one at that) personify their character, no one else would be more intimately familiar with the persona,... too bad, he would've been great, just apply some makeup etc. their loss, I suggested this in a message to the director, ... wanted to see L done justice, dont think anyone else could pull it off as well, well, I always knew L was a black asian in white face......
SlipKnighT09 i actually love it. the thing about L is that he's anonymous-esty is what makes it incredible. black,white, Hispanic. i love the fact that toyed with that. true fact: L is actually European. his complexion comes off as asian but doesn't let people know that. btw i loved the actor they choose. he's great.

My boyfriend and I are currently watching CW’s The 100. AJ is a character named Sinclair there. Mid episode my boyfriend suddenly just paused the show and said, “He’s L!!!” Amazing discovery. Great actor.
