  • Lola’s means "grandmother" in Tagalog, named to honor Chef Suzanne Cupps' grandmother. Inspired by her childhood in South Carolina, Lola's offers Southern-style dishes that prioritize subtle flavor harmonies over boldness, utilizing seasonal ingredients and vegetables :)
    Chef Cupps didn’t originally major in culinary arts. While working a different job, she discovered her passion for cooking by chance and earned her certification from the Institute of Culinary Education. She then trained for 10 years under two of New York’s most respected chefs, Anita Lo and Michael Anthony.
    In 2017, Chef Cupps became the first female executive chef recognized at Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, the creators of Shake Shack. She gained fame for her artistic techniques, presentation, and sophisticated approach to familiar yet unexpected flavors :)

    The HOUSEMADE NAAN here is a must-try dish! I found it incredibly satisfying, so make sure to give it a try :)
    This restaurant is very popular, so reservations are a must! If you plan to walk in, I recommend arriving right at opening time.
