After being shot in a violent crime I suffered with PTSD for over twenty years. I spiraled into deep darkness and sin. A year ago Jesus rescued me. He healed me, freed me, and forgave me. The words to this beautiful hymn is so true. He is the secret place where we find all we have need of! He is all in all!!

The most beautiful +deeply moving hymn I have ever heard, I have only lately become acquainted with this very dear, gracious Saint RC Sproul and look forward to meeting him in Glory
Wonderful hymn. This is a classic which will stand the test of time.
I used to hear hymns like this as a kid but couldn’t understand what the big deal was. When I actually got saved and started reading & believing Scripture, all the lyrics fluttered into life and became 100% relatable.
A very powerful and moving song that touches me to the core.
This hymn is an outpouring of Dr. Sproul's heart

He was a gifted servant of God. He was bold and loving. I enjoyed the book for children, The Priest's Dirty Close. I had no idea he wrote a hymn too. I am so appreciative of his faithfulness. He preached the word. Well done.
it brought tears to my eyes what a legacy he has left behind for future generations to gleem off unless the Lord returns soon, come Lord Jesus come.

On the 12.12.2021; I was looking for this song titled “Shut in with GOD in a Secret Place” and The Holy Spirit directed me to this song and Oooooohhhhh how beautiful and majestic and powerful and blessed this song is and sounds.
When one [I] sing this song it’s a bowing down, falling on our knees song. Saying, yes LORD Thou are HOLY, Pure, Righteous, Just, Terrible, True, Merciful, full of Grace, Loving and there is no it to Thee. Everlasting to Everlasting to Infinity !!!

I read the 91st Psalm to my dad and then played this beautiful hymn on my phone. He was unconscious at the time, but my mom said that he looked peaceful when he passed away.

I was privileged to sing in a choir that previewed the Glory ToThe Holy One music in California. The words are profound and Lippencott's music is phenomenal.

I noticed where it says the audio comes from- Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California. I’m not sure of the exact context of them singing this hymn on the particular date this came from, whether it was done in memoriam or not. However it reminds me of the great friendship between Sproul and MacArthur. It’s perhaps one of the greatest recent examples of a biblical friendship in the public light. Something I long to have.
