LYRICS:
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.
Oh, love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure-
The saints’ and angels’ song.
When hoary time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men who here refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race-
The saints’ and angels’ song.
Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky. - เพลง
My wife and I heard the Imperials in 1978. We shared how we'd traveled to Memphis to share Jesus with Elvis in May, 1977. They invited us to lunch with them and their humility was unforgettable. They prayed about continuing with Elvis when he was going to Las Vegas, They prayed and unanimously decided to continue their ministry of singing about Jesus. What an awesome life testimony of sharing the Love of God.
Loved Armond
Armond born Feb 25, 1932 and died December 5, 2022 RIP
Armand was in his 80's when this was recorded. Amazing and all glory be to God!
Greatest bass singer ever!
I love Armond Morales’ voice.
His sisters sang beautifully too!
When and how did Robbie Hiner become a member of The Imperials. I remember him from when he was attending Liberty University
Dave Will sings here with as much passion and power as he did at the height of the Imperial's popularity in the late 70's and early '80's.
And my great grandmother babysat for him when he was a baby
God loves us and Jesus died for our sins to be forgiven. Please accept Jesus as your Savior if you have not already. God bless.
