Over 200 and maybe 220. I order about 9000 pounds a year from a foundry in Germany and then mix it to my own oil consistency here in Tucson. Similar to Delft Clay but a bit less oily in my opinion.
Great video, thanks I watched a few times! Where can I find the metal pipe and half round you used as the holding piece for the ring? I am curious to get a set with different sizing to accommodate for all ring sizes.(or at least the popular ring sizes). Thanks!
@@ulyssethierry3838 it could be many things and impossible to guess without seeing how you set up your flask. Join my group on Facebook called Sand Casting - Tips and Techniques. Then post your setup and let the members help you out with it.
I re-designed it and have a couple other jewelers testing it for me first. Once I'm satisfied it works correctly I will offer it for sale to members of my Facebook group only so I can control the safely side of using it as much as possible. Thanks for asking.
Will you be restocking the mini core flask kit soon?!
I’m just waiting on the next shipment of inserts to arrive. Soon I’m told. Thanks
Very good casting, congratulations. Can you tell what is the grain size of the sand you use to cast this ring? Is it available on your store?

I make both and my website is www.diycastings.com Thanks!
Which power is that??
Power?
Did you mean powder? If so, I use mostly cornstarch but sometimes talc. I like cornstarch the best.
We need a bigger ring in order to understand more.
نحتاج الى خاتم اكبر وواضح الشكل
