As a Black person, this makes me incredibly proud. My brother in law is a professional opera singer and started over 50 years ago when Black people were scarcely seen if at all in these classical opera spaces. This young man can play and sing, which is doubly incredible, and I love his joyful expression as he sings and plays.

I have a friend who is also a singer. Her voice is cool strong and beautiful. She said she learned it so slow and it was so hard compared to others. If you could hear her singing, you would also devalue her work with phrase "gifted".
It's not like we are watching beginners after 1 month of training and this one suddenly in this period of time learned how to play piano with both hands moving separately, music theory and sing with deep voice in tune

That’s a very specific example, but the point is, some people are given the gift of music. Perfect pitch is a gift. I have it, I didn’t choose it, I was born with it. Helps me pick things up by ear. Some musicians learn faster than others, and have a better ear. God gives us all different strengths and abilities. Yes, everyone can learn music, enjoy it, and be good at it. But, some people have to put in more effort than others.
If you are a musician, you have a gift, the gift of music that you can share with others to bless them. That is another way you can be gifted. This man in the video is gifted, he shared his gift with us. Naturally beautiful voice enhanced by hard work and practice…he now has a gift he can share. Now hopefully you can understand the compliment.
