Love Jodie! I’m from the same area as her except my accent is much thicker, she’s said in previous interviews she weakens it so people find it easier to understand her.
However even still I don’t think Americans understand our humour.

I think the accent makes it difficult and she was speaking too fast
@@hsd287 accent is different yes, but the way Jodie is speaking she has slowed down her speech and this is a very weak version of her accent, Ellen comes across as rude and uninterested in her guest though, I feel that’s where the problem is.
Villainelle is imprinted in me that whenever Jodie laughs, I tremble 😂
