I can't emphasize how happy I am that your channel took off with the Redbull video. These videos are absolutely amazing all around from title, editing to the voice over.
You guys should make a series called "Broke" or something. Do a deep dive into atheletes who went broke, why, and how. I think it could generate a wider audience and gain some traction. You guys put a lot of research into your videos already, so I know youll do the topic justice. I remember there was an ESPN series similar to it and a lot of people loved it. Maybe some short 15-20 minute sports documentaries too. I always believe that doing your due dilligence and proper research and then presenting it in the most unbias way always yields good results. I think you guys do that with every bit of content you put out.
“Just do it” is actually the manifestation of their strategy that helped them grow. Their strategy is “We care about the athletes”. No matter if it is MJ or me lacing up to run in the morning Nike speaks to the athlete. All their communication is about the athlete. Not the fashion. Not the fans. The athletes. This is what propelled them to the top. They entered fashion through culture and this is why they thrived.
It's always tough to be in the number one position among sneaker and fashion brands. Maybe Nike will be overthroned by some other company in the future, but at that time also, the Ahletics Interest gives us the best content. Pure gem❤
What a Fascinating Channel, If Athletic interest ever launch a course on The Art of story telling, I'll happily Invest My Money. Amazing story telling. Content + Connections + Voiceover = Magic.
Lol I was watching the "Air" movie and they made a remark about its origins. I ended up looking into it. Funny, sad and a bit disturbing story lol. But I think if you ask anyone at Nike now, theyll probably say that it was said before Gillmore and itll be said after him. Still a good story lol.
thanks for the heart and the comment I have been a great fun for four years now. Please cover an African topic like the recent Afcon so that we will feel represented@@AthleticInterest
@ahmed5283 I meant generally Adidas has more impactful players, Messi is today the most impactful player. And players like Bellingham will take over. Bellingham plays in Madrid one of the most iconic team, Haaland play in City, not the team with the best history internationally. And then you have people like Beckham, Zidane who after their career still are relevant in world football. Adidas knows who to recruits people who can represent them. You don t see that with NIke. Adidas=quality, Nike=quantity. And when 2026 WC, the biggest WC in history start, Adidas wil pop up everywhere and will record huge revenue. Adidas has right to the two of the biggest competitions CL and WC.
Product portfolio ,ads and collabs shot Nike to the position they are today. "Just do it " is just a slogan. I don't buy Nike because of a serial killers statement. Y'all sometimes get carried away.
This channel seens rather Nike fanboyish. Either that or paid. Because claiming that Nike is winning is quite odd when Nikes domination is now a thing of the past. They were aiming for 50% market share. And have dropped down to 37%. They are facing very tough competition from disruptor brands like ON and Hoka. Not to mention from resurgent brands like Asics, and New Balance. All of which are eating into Nikes market share slowly but surely. Nike has lost its innovative edge, and has become lazy on quality control.
@@AthleticInterest please note that I said "seems". I of course cannot accuse your channel of anything I have zero proof of. It's just odd to make a video about how "Nike won" when Nike is facing increasing competition and is actually losing market share. Not to mention their stock is down 50% and they are no longer a growth brand. While they remain the largest sports brand......and certainly they won in the past by being so dominant. But that's just not realistically the case these days. And let's remember that there is no such thing as too big to fail. Just ask Nokia, Kodak, Reebok (which used to be bigger than Nike in the 90s) etc.....
It is rather dumb to attribute the success of a company to their tagline. It is not just that, you need innovative products and you need to pay millions to sports personalities to influence dumb people to buy your products

Gotta be careful with the title. ESPN already did Broke.
Just broke it 😊

Yup, they get people to think they care about their athletes while they have literal children making their shoes lmao. It was the perfect strategy.
Oh.....that's what they were doing....."caring" when they punished their female athletes for getting pregnant by docking their pay?
Always giving us the content we never wanted but somehow need 😮💨
Debatable
It's always tough to be in the number one position among sneaker and fashion brands. Maybe Nike will be overthroned by some other company in the future, but at that time also, the Ahletics Interest gives us the best content.

you should make a video "how athletic interest just DOES IT". man the quality of your videos is just mind blowing. kepp it up champ!
Thanks a lot! We'll put it on the list of ideas 😉
Athletic Interest is the one channel I follow like a religion. Too good!
Honoured to have you as a disciple! 😄

How much nike content can be squeezed from this channel 😂
This channel does a lot of positive Nike videos as if it was paid by Nike for brand promotions.
I actually agree
I totally agree.
I love your channel guys. I think you are at the top of your video kind. Every video I watch is measured related to you being on top of the curve.
Thanks, Leonardo! 🙂
Now that's a bold way to beat the competition
You add an element to the plate I don't care whatever I eat while watching your video it becomes the greatest dinner
NOW THE FAMILY GUY NIKE AD MAKES SENSE OMG 😂
Holy crap the algorithm is not treating this video well.

the thumbnail for this video goes so hard
Adidas brought back tongue. That’s a big deal in football(soccer). The new predators with tongue are kind of a big deal now
I GOT A NIKE AD BEFORE THE VIDEO 😭

Phil Knight: We don't need that shit

Awesome video as always my friend.. but wow loving these
Happy to hear it! 😀
Nike's founder didn't like its iconic logo and its tagline, but decided to stick with it and see how it develops. An agency's ideal client.
Bwahaha the end. "They might have met each other"
Love all your videos. This channel is a gem.
Thanks a lot, Artyom! 🙂

Super engaging video ❤
Glad you liked it 🙂
Song at the end?
Nike to child slave workers: “JUST DO IT”!’
Truly the most inspiring of our times
Haven’t watched the vid yet but I thought it was fascinating how Nike moved on from Neymar so quickly even after investing heavily into him
Still stripes over checks any day
Did athletic interest fire any of their editors?
notice how they dont have an office in Africa, we really need to do it.
Adidas is still dominating the football scene thought both culturally in financial.
It’s literally not, Ronaldo, mbappe and haaland are all signed with Nike

Should do something about Justin Timberlake with McDonald's I'm lovin it that they still use
Amazing video
Thank you, Jose!
Do more vids on some newer brands. Nike is an old giant, everyone knows their story.
do some video for Puma 🙏
anything literally anything☠️
Genuinely stopped watching as soon as a movie released in 1982 Was described as ‘super old’. You didn’t have to come at me like that.
It wasn't personal 😅
I thought it was Shia Labeouf
Shia Labeouf said “Just Do It” in 2015.
Nike was (obviously) already one of the biggest sports wear brands in the world.
Watch the video first.
@@MagicalBread bro doesn't know what a joke is lol
Where’s the part that you show Bellingham? 😢
Nike is Nike because of Jordan. Not because of a slogan. Lol but great video
I can't believe they seem to be throwing it all away now for WHAT?! What is football and street fashion without Nike?😭😔
Ive never heard anyone say 'Just Do It'.
There famous in America but its not the entire world
Messi actually is an Adidas ambassador.
Should've used Ronaldo's example.✌️
Hi guy's I'd love a video on Rugby qnd how it could be a sleeping giant or could go extinct
Please please please keep posting videos I had missed you, almost got depressed for missing your videos 😢😢😢
We're back! 😉
Adidas is the best only ppl in America 🇺🇸 say nike the best 😂
Na bro u trippin
Mbappe, haaland and Ronaldo are all signed with Nike. Adidas only has Messi
U just a messi fanboy, adidas sucks. Checks over stripes all day
@@AlexanderTheGoat25 thts wht i meant
increadible angle
Well, honestly adidas creates the best football jersey and football boots
wasnt mbappe on the thumbnail before
What is up with the thumbnail?!
Michael Jordan carried Nike so hard it should be studied
They bought that trademark from an Australian i think.
I’m not sneaker person but the Nike panda are so ugly to me 5:56 :P
Jordan saved nike. Not some slogan.
They kill you right back 😂
Imagine buying nike stock back the oh my 😂
Work on the thumbnail guys.
Sure, it was the Just Do It Campaign. Got nothing to do with having signed MJ in 84. It's the Just Do It, not the NBA GOAT.
Ben Affleck made Nike what it is today :)
The film was way too inaccurate for my taste 🤓
People born in 1982 👵👴
Poll how many Athletic Interest fans believe that our man here needs to tell a story about the Afcon competition. If so please leave a like.
Product portfolio ,ads and collabs shot Nike to the position they are today. "Just do it " is just a slogan. I don't buy Nike because of a serial killers statement. Y'all sometimes get carried away.
none of what they do marketing wise will improve the quality of their athletic products, new balance has done way better than nike in that department
Adidas forever
