"Sunshine of Your Love" began as a bass phrase or riff developed by Cream bassist Jack Bruce. Cream attended a concert on 29 January 1967 by the Jimi Hendrix Experience at the Saville Theatre in London.
Bands with just 3 musicians are fantastic! Cream, Hendrix and even 3 man bands with a singer like The Who, The Doors and Zeppelin...AWESOME!!!
Classic! Also In the goodfellas film ! Another classic!
60s, my Dads favourite band, consequently I have all the first presses.
When this song came out it was played in Vietnam over and over!
Eric Clapton is number 2 guitarist on Rolling Stone Magazine's all-time list he's the only person inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three different times
Jack Bruce is playing bass guitar and lead vocals with Eric Clapton playing guitar and backing vocals, Ginger Baker on Drums. The band only lasted 3 years, crazy
My favorite love song!
remember, this came out in 1967...It blew me away then and still does to this day!
One awesome timeless song,
Was, out in 68. White Room, Badge, Strange Brew and Crossroads are all very good. Since you dig psychedelic I know you will enjoy YOU KEEP ME HANGING ON by Vanilla Fudge in 68.
One of my favorite Cream songs is actually a cover. Born Under a Bad Sign is blues rock Dom Perignon. Check it out.
60s flavor. Introducing blues rock to the world.
White Room ✌️Love these classic rock reactions
Yep, Eric Clapton on lead and rhythm guitar and background vocals, Jack Bruce on Bass and lead vocals, and Ginger Baker on drums. God Bless you !!!
Cream got back together for a series of concerts in 2005 at The Royal Albert Hall. You can see them perform on songs like “Stormy Monday”, “I’m So Glad”, and “Badge”!
even Ella Fitzgerald made a cover of this... an astonishing cover by the way
Eric Clapton in his younger years. I was 15 sitting in front of my makeup mirror getting ready for school. Way back memories, eh? This was very erotic back then. Grungy/funk is good. Cheers from Canada
This was from the 60’s not 70’s. I just saw Eric Clapton in Sept. live. He is still fabulous😎
Jack Bruce’s vocals and driving bass lines,Eric Clapton’s guitar riffs and Ginger Bakers thumping drums just doesn’t get any better,I was 15 when this came out and it still hits the spot.
..and Clapton also does a great job with the "Super-Group""Blind Faith" ...try: Had to cry today !..and enjoy
This was released in 1967 Hippie era (The 60's were the psychedelic times!)
