Helicopter External Transport System (HETS)

In 2012, Coquitlam SAR added a new rescue tool; Helicopter External Transport System (HETS). This video was taken during a training exercise performed shortly after we went live with our HETS program.
2012 is the 40th anniversary of Coquitlam SAR providing volunteer search and rescue to the Tri-cities area and the Province of BC. Our new HETS program is one more milestone in our successful 40 year history.
