I'm a newbie at photography and have much to learn about it. Your channel is something special for me and I've seen some of your videos. As I did see this video I couldn't imagine what should be special on this pictures, they seemed to be boring for me. But when you showed the result I couldn't speak a word, this was really overwhelming. I really want to thank you. There are many channels about photography, but to see a real professional at his work is whole another level.
I enjoyed both video's, Tom, and the wide pano images are just gorgeous. I can imaging why you are coming back here. First location is also beautiful, difficult to find the right composition, but it's absolute beautiful there!
I really enjoyed both parts, making note of what you said regarding the compositions, and the photos you produced were truly beautiful. The leafless trees (image #2) just seemed to be standing sentinel, and the closest image of the boathouse resonated strongest with me. I have to admit to being a little envious of scenery with such a variety of colour because many trees in Australia are evergreen and many grow straight up, so the compositions I need to identify will be somewhat different.
Wow, amazing images from a beautiful place, 1st the tip on the ND grad was excellent, the spirit level on the hot shoe was the 2nd good tip so will be looking for one of those. The boat house and tree reflections was my pick closely followed by the Panorama's. Many thanks for sharing this with us, very much appreciated Tom.
Hello Tom, I love your informative and very well made videos. I have one question: what leveling base do you use for your GT3543XLS? I would like to buy this tripod. If you come to Germany next year and do a workshop on photographing castles I will probably be there. Best regards from Aachen / Germany Wolfgang
Hi Wolfgang, I'm using the Gitzo leveling base, here's the link. www.gitzo.com/us-en/leveling-base-systematic-gslvls/ If you see me in Germany, come up and say hi.

I do like the eucalyptus trees and especially tree ferns which we don't have. You'll have to come to Scotland next year on my workshop.
Amazing and beautifully explained. 🧡🙏👍16
Thank you! Cheers!

@@TomMackieLandscapes Thank you very much Tom.
I love the video. Really nice location. Can you tell me where is this please?
I mentioned the location in part 1, make sure you watch it.
@@TomMackieLandscapes thank you, I will
Did those ducks follow you from the Dolomites?
Yes, those little buggers have a duck wish!
Wonderful! 👍 74 for you!
Thank you! Cheers!
wHERE DO YOU USUALLY PUT YOUR FOCUS?
Soon you won't have to wait for the light. Software will let you "re-light" the scene in post.
I put that in just for you Ed.
