This talk is about the importance of innovation, sustainable development, and individual's pivotal role to birth a better Africa. Jibril Bala is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Mechatronics Engineering, affiliated with the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
Jibril's research and interests encompass Intelligent Control Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Intelligent Mechatronics, and Precision Agriculture.
Jibril has received recognition for his achievements and contributions, including scholarships from organizations such as the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), and NNPC/Chevron. He has also been involved in research projects funded by prestigious institutions including the Royal Academy of Engineering, Tertiary Education Trust Fund, NCC and others. These research grants focus on areas such as Artificial Intelligence, STEM education, clean energy, intelligent transport systems, precision agriculture, embedded systems and robotics.
