Purchased the maven 2x10 about 2 years ago. Outstanding super clear glass and very light weight. I’m looking into purchasing another one or two for my other hunting rifles. If you want light weight great glass at an extremely good price Maven is tough to beat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Scopes priced for everyone. Best scope reviews on TH-cam. Schmidt &Bender send Joe some scopes to review. SB scope reviews on TH-cam are boring as hell. I think Joe could spice things up for you. Who knows Joe they may be affraid of the NIPPLE TWISTER lol.
Can you do another top scopes you would buy in sub $500, sub $1000, then best scope money can buy, and then best value? That would help a lot of us from wasting money on buying scopes that suck. 😁👍🙏. I’ll click your affiliate links if you could do that for us noobs. Also the best rings you recommend. Good funny videos man. 😂 Keep it up. 👏👏👏 Maybe another video of the #1 scope you would pick for the apocalypse.
Thanks Joe. I just picked up my Christensen Arms Ranger & I got that one scoped. But now I seem to be stricken with the need for a Volquartzen Summit. & this CZ 457 Varmint Precision has also surfaced. Maybe a Maven will sit nicely on those guns. I may have the sickness.
I wept a bit when Nikon got out of the scope game, the glass on those more budget-friendly Nikons was great for what you paid. This Maven looks like it could be a good alternative to put on a mid-range bolt action, something that won't take AR-type abuse but would make a great addition to a decent deer gun.
Joe I know optics are subjective, but in this $450ish price range, would you choose this budget Maven CRS.1 (3-12x40), the Meopta Optika5 (2-10x42) or step up slightly to the GPO Spectra 4x (2.5-10x44)? Final option would be the $550 Maven RS.2 (2-10x38). Thanks for any feedback you can provide!
definitely all about price at that level, looks nice and is a trim piece, which you’d want in the field. 11 y/o on the 300 WM? They can take it. Make sure they had their wheaties first.
I'd say add a muzzle brake on the 300WM, but start them off first on a 22, then move them up if they look like they could handle it. Start kids off early with good basics and ear pro, my 11 yr old son out shot me with some of my guns, I am proud
Joe, You did not mention the eyebox i have read a few reviews on these and several reviewers say the eye relief and eyebox on these is rather tight but i have never handled one myself
Very nice short video showing just what I want to see. I am considering a getting a nice little scope for my Ruger 10/22 Takedown and am thinking if this little bi=udget scope might just fit the bill.
Joe, I love my Maven binoculars. Also, I've been looking for a scope to throw on my wife's hunting rifle, and this might just be it. I'm glad I can click a link and help support a one-eyed cyclops porn habit.
been saving up a while for a Delta striker 4.5-30x after seeing your vid on it a while ago! keen to know if the delta striker and Tract toric are still king of the hill in glass at that price range or have other newer scope surpassed them?

Great review Joe. Too bad there's no AO.
Nice scope Joe. Looks real decent. Great review as always, no nipple twisters though, do you think it can handle it?
