Another great and honest review, no BS. I bought my SH4J 6-24 about a month ago using your discount code, and love that scope! Thanks for that, Joe! If I could add one tip, it would be to use a small dab of Vibra-Tite VC3 on all of the turret set screws and the zero stop set screw to keep them snug. And follow the instructions on the product, of allowing it to dry on the threads for 10-30 minutes before reassembly. The stuff sets to a rubbery consistency and allows for future turret adjustments. It feels kinda like you've added an o-ring to the screws. Do not use blue Loctite!! I did at first and thought I was going to strip the threads out of the turrets getting the set screws loose afterwards. Luckily I got them out and cleaned up. Personally, I think Arken should include a small tube of the Vibra-Tite VC3 with every one of their scopes.
I'm old enough to remember scopes back in the day. So, if i don't have a Night Force, I'm not missing it because Arken is vastly superior to what we used to have back in the old days. Same "guts" - housing, lenses and internals
Same warranty, handled in Canada by the same people at Arken Canada

Lower price (US initial sale price on EP5 Gen II is US$600 or CA$830), and DNT 7-35x56 will initially be on sale for CA$810.
Turret caps, parallax "cap" and illumination "knob" slightly differently machined - the DNT has more of a diamond shaped "knurled" finish, and looks more classy in my opinion
Windage turret "zero marker" now at a 45 degree "angle" (between 10 and 11 o'clock) - so more visible when sitting behind the scope at a bench
New DNT reticle which has 0.2 MIL "hash marks" compared to the EP5 Gen II VPR reticle which only has 0.5 MIL hash marks

In all fairness I still own an Arken SH4 G2 4-16 that I bought based on your review that has been rock solid. I enjoy your reviews and keep up the good work👍
And Happy Thanksgiving!
😁Great review! My second 7-35x56 is arriving very soon. 😁🎊 🎉
Good choice!
I have the 4-16. I really want to get a couple of these
They are a Bad Ass Buy
Very nice review mate and dammmmm that is one very clear scope
It sure is
Great review.......thanks Jo😊
Thanks for watching!
@@CyclopsJoeVideoslove arken joe hope to see you back in the sagittarius parallel timeline again. Majestic 12 here love you
Добрый день.На Ваш взгляд, что лучше, Arken 7-35x56 ep5 или Riton X7 Conquer 4-32x56? И почему так решили? Спасибо.
I haven’t tried that Riton so honestly can’t say . Sorry
@CyclopsJoeVideos Спасибо 🤝
We have a local south african company manufacturing there oen brand ... AKRA. Its worth looking in to and maybe do a review
I’ll check into that
I make enough that I could save up for a $3k-$5k scope within a couple months if I really really wanted to... But I'd rather avoid "death by wife"!
I plan to build a "budget" LR/PRS rifle just to get started in the funhouse...
(...Even with an Arken EP5, the scope would still be the most expensive single part of the gun!)
what do you think about the diamondback + p
Haven’t tried it yet
Haven’t tried it
Absolutely the best Review Bitch in the game. I take your reviews as gospel. Thanks, Brother💯❤️
Man I laughed my ass off when I read that !!! I can’t see , we would get along great
Good honest review.
Thanks!
Can you mount this on a 338 win mag?
My 5-25 is on a 300 prc so I don’t see why not.
For Sure
Springer rated?
No
Nice review uncle joe
Thank you kindly
Arkhen should have a C.Y.C.L.O.P.S edition of the scope. Nipple twister warranty.
lol, that’s great
I really like your honesty, thank you.
I appreciate that!
I appreciate that!
You are so welcome
I like the look!
It’s a super nice scope
Another Outstanding Review Joe I wanted to buy it as a 4th Arken but next rifle is more Hunting and very little reach out so I decided to go with a EPL4 6-24x50 just ordered it got the higher magnification for if I ever use it to reach out. Started with Arken years ago because of you well before you were a affiliate
They make some incredible stuff for the price man , no doubt
@
One of the best recommendations you gave to me. Been watching your stuff for a couple of years know you get some really off the wall replies but some don’t get your down to earth comedy some are just uptight! You put out Great stuff stay real the way you are I get it and plenty others do too.
Paused the video halfway through and placed a order.
Got excited and used the house code, should have used yours I apologize.
You gonna LOVE THIS THING !!!!
I have an Arken 4 to 16 x50. I stretch its legs to 1000 easy. But if I can change one thing on arken. Is the stupid Allen key screw on the turrets. I mean that's a little 1900s for me. I would buy 3 more arkens .. but really the turrets are horrible
Almost all scopes have same lil screws
@CyclopsJoeVideos nope .... major contenders in the market has similar towns crew method. Don't get me wrong I am fitting my other rifles arkens aswel. But I guess you get what you pay for
I have a LOT of Arken, DNT, and Discovery newer scopes. Throw the Allen wrenches in the trash and simply get a precision T8 Torx driver. Problem solved. I buy 6 at a time from Amazon.
Cool scope. Wish I could find someone that ships to Europe with US prices, lol.
Hang in there man
Just by a Hawke Sidewinder 11 folks.
What !!??? Lol
battery says 2025?
They are interchangeable
Was that a 2025 battery? Weird!
They are interchangeable with the 2032
@@CyclopsJoeVideos ahhhh ok, thanks Joe, I have a bunch of them and now have a use for them haha
I used your code on 6 scopes instead of overtons because you're not a jackass
lol, I try not to be
Ok a little feedback and I am only 3 seconds in. Go back to the old lens if that thing can make you pop like that not to mention I can't get over the pheasants on the wall now I want to go bird hunting. Ok let me go back to the video to see if I can pay attention to the scope.
This new lense is incredible
That's a nice looking scope! Great review, Joe!
Thanks 👍
Ive been waiting 3 weeks for rings
Get the package with the scope and the one price 20 moa mount is wonderful and way more solid than individual rings and 20 moa built in. Got what I ordered in 2 days and talked to a rep directly just shop around the dealers that give you a phone number. And yes it has as good of glass as all the high dollar shit available.
Yeah the new rings are selling FAST
If you have to use a tool to set the zero stop, it's a real problem.
I do t know if a single hard zero stop that’s totally tooless
I don't know Joe, it looked like a 2025 battery to me
It was , they are interchangeable
👍 Joe joe !
👏👏👏
I should have gotten this one, instead of the Gen 1, damnit!! 😤🤬
Well, I'll save my weekend beer 🍺 money for a year again. 😅😂
I hear ya buddy
42 oz? Damn! 0:40
She's not a skinny . This girl has curves
Eye box Joe! Eye box?
Tight like all the high magnification scopes
@CyclopsJoeVideos thanks ya goofy fuck!
@CyclopsJoeVideos lol!
@CyclopsJoeVideos tight like tampex Tim's AZZ?
👍

Wow !!!! Thank god for Texas
NEGETIVE here is that I did not get a free one lol 😂 I am worth it.😮.
Damn Arken Canada hasn’t responded to my email about my shitty sh4 gen 2. I wish us up here in Canada had the customer support like the United States 🇺🇸 has. I would caution any Canadians from buying one at least sh4 because mine is garbage. I would love to love these optics but unfortunately I have had nothing but issues with Arken
That sucks man , I wish Canadian dudes would get on board with that
