Picked up my first 4Runner this year and have absolutely loved every minute! Taken a couple off road adventures up here in the PNW and it's so capable right out of the box. In addition to it's abilities, that v6 will run for hundreds of thousands of miles with standard maintenance. You made a great choice!

I've been driving (mostly) stock 4x4s in the Jemez, Pecos and around Albuquerque for decades. I've had an '84 Bronco II, an '82 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 diesel, an '87 Jeep Wrangler, and a '90 Bronco. I currently have a '97 Ford Ranger 4x4 and a 2010 4Runner. The 4Runner is my favorite of all the ones I've owned. I'd love to build the Ranger into a hardcore rock crawler, but don't have the money, shop space, or skills to do it. Enjoy your new ride!
If you think the SR5 is a beast, you should test drive the Off Road or Off Road premium! But they all are good! I have owned 3 so far. An 88 (OG), a 2016 sr5 and now a 2024 ORP! Last of the Mohicans! After this year they all gone!
Nice video! I got a 2021 Off Road V6 and slapped on some Mickey Thompson Baja Boss and man I love it. If you could, go back to that steep incline and see what the limits are without so much momentum. I think it would be cool to see how much momentum is needed. You made it look way too easy. Haha
4runners will go, u did good on the buy they got me for $1,800 bucks in "TRD" upgrades for my SR5.. but I got the radiator cap, oil cap, gear shifter knob and the trd air filter ,,, with the "TRD cold air intake" and TRD skid plate. ,, I can't believe the TRD cold air intake don't come on the TRD off road or the Pro. it was $1,000 bucks for it ..

Great vehicle...good place to get familiar with the 4 runner. It is capable of much more than dirt roads.

I love my 4Runner. Now put some BFG K0/2's on the wheels and you'll go anywhere!
These 4Runners only come with a v6. The previous gen had the option for a v8

@@batmarro look up the specs on Toyotas website. They only come with a v6. You are getting v8 gas mileage though, regardless lol
