“Must Haves”: rooftop tent so you have a place to think about all the actual must haves that weren’t in this video. Like spare parts, tire repair kit, tool bag, water and food so you don’t die on the hike out to get help from someone who actually has must haves 😂

I never understand this comment… you guys act like its gotta be covered in dirt 120% of the time or its a pavement princess…. You do realize a pressure washers like $60 at walmart then you can just wash ur vehicle at any moment right? I dont leave dirt on my jeeps i live in the rust belt and let me just say its easier to just clean it than it is to have to buy a new one when it rusts to death in a few years
@@TangoTangoAlpha i try to wash my stuff after i go out and play with it… especially being that i live in michigan and all that dirt on the roads traps salt… if your driving down dirt roads you just wanna wash the thing regularly or youll be needing a new ride pretty soon lol
@@MileytheJeepV2I half way agree with you but this jeep has never been off road, look at the paint, bumpers and winch. Up until the point of this video it’s been a pavement princess.

Nice build but it's only for show without the dirt, some scratches and reasonable wear.
It's funny how fads come and go and when the whole"overlanding" thing got popular here in socal you could instantly start spotting the "posers". Theres the typical Tacoma full bed rack,shovel, rooftop tent,10 x fuel cans,200 different lights,canvas colored shell ect. There's nothing wrong with dropping some $ on a rig but 90% of them never left the asphalt. I can't tell you how many guys I see that just keep all their cool lookin gear (rooftop tent fuel cans ect)for years
My crossover hits more dirt than those 90% lol

Good looking rig, not gonna lie. Just not feeling the “must have” thing. It doesn’t appear this rig has been used in any way, much less the gear; which is totally fine because everything is new once, right? However, when someone doesn’t have the experiences they need to fully understand that gear and the circumstances they can/should be used for, they don’t strike me as someone qualified to tell me I “must have” said gear. Show me a roughed up rig with the basics/fundamentals loaded for bear and I’ll pay attention, but if it looks like someone’s desperate need to make their rig a social media billboard to sell products.. it just looks like “muster-bating” for people who “should” all over themselves to maintain appearances. I sincerely hope this Jeep gets the attention it deserves and comes out a hardened trail beast. See ya on the trails!
The winch is for when you're really stuck. The traction boards are really just for looks. If traction boards get you out, you weren't really stuck.
I use them as a compliment to my winch and tow straps, helped get my buddy out of mud to his trucks frame since we used the board to get him on top of the mud rather than dragging him trough, we did have 2 rigs pull him out through
When you’re stuck in a sand wash in the desert, have fun finding something to winch off of.

Apocalyptic scenario and im gona what, bust out my gladiator, drive over the mayhem, climb to a remote location with my 11.6mpg and extra 5 gallon gas tank, then finally when im on a mountain top i can fk-off and stay there or hike my azz back to a gas station so i can get my big rig out? 😎😎😎😎😎 yeah 🇺🇸 america

Will never understand the Rotopax hype outside UTVs, ATVs and 2 wheeled machines. 170 dollars to hold 10 litres less than a 25 dollar Jerry can? Fuck that noise. Would have to spend almost 2g to have enough gas to do the Mackenzie.
I keep 3 rotopax (7.5 gallons) in the bed of my truck when I go camping because there’s no room for a jerry can. They’re thin and just pack better when space is limited
