Appreciate your clear communication. I’m a Blood knot guy but I followed your instruction- practiced a few times- and I like this knot. Thanks and Sub’d
@@SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing Everything is going good just been busy with work. We are planning a trip to tow the boat down from Maryland in September for 10 days. Are you still in Boca?
Hi Heath, I learned this knot a while ago and it's strong. I tie my mono leader to my braid main line with a version of this knot. After you do the six wraps, I do six wraps back toward the loop and then put the tag end through the loop. It's almost the same thing. Hope all is well with your "Crew." Take care and have fun, Mickey
Hi Mickey, so you use the Alberto knot. Same thing with a little extra security. Both are excellent knots made for threading lines together. Everyone is good here and they all say "Hi". Hope everything is going well in Palm Bay. Talk to you soon.
I like the albright... here's the thing with uni to uni... is it's made to splice together 2 lines of the same pound test. where as the Albright is made to connect different lines.
@@SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing Thanks, because I wonder why more people don't use the Yucatan knot for line to line connections, when it's a great, strong and easy knot. It's my go to.
Thank you very much for this tutorial!
I wanted to add extra line to my reel without having to completely respool it, so this helps out a lot!

20 years fishing bass tournaments and I never used this knot. You're a good coach, I nailed it my first try. Thank you...
Another great video Heath always love your content
I completely forgot about this knot. Thanks for the great video Heath.
Hopefully the weather cuts us a break soon
i like the blood knot i learned from one of your old videos
Me too, this is more simple and quicker.
Thanks Heath,Ive used that knot often works great 👍
Very good instruction. I have a large toe nail clipper to trim back the lines instead of pliers or scissors.
Wow, i did not know this one. i am going to try it for sure. thanks for the video.👍
Works better if you lubricate the knot with either saliva or urine.
Thank you Teacher, very instructive Video!!!!
Thank you very much, awesome video 👍
Excellent video, bro. Thank you very much for your content.. Wade Out..
Great knot Heath,I use it all the time along with double uni knot JT. Say hi to the fishing kids for me
Hi JT... thanks a million... everyone says "Hi" back at ya 😃
Great video Heath!
Great to hear from you.... how's everything?

Hi Heath, You're right. It is called an Alberto knot. We're all well in Palm Bay. Have fun, Mickey
Easy peasy…thank you
thankyou thats awsome !!!
Super!
I put top shot on for shark fishing is this strong enough for big sharks off the pier
No... I'd use crimps and a 300 lb test swivel
Thanks buddy cheers Ricky 🎸🔥💥🙏👩🏻🦼🇺🇸🥷🏼💦🎣🧜🏼♂️
On the boat, I do uni to uni knot a lot, super easy. Is the Albright smaller? Stronger?

Thanks for the heads up... I'll never tie a uni knot again.
that will be good to set up my jigging set up?
Yes.... you can also use the Alberto knot
@@SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing thanks for the awesome 👌like the info u put out 👍🏼
Have ever tried the Yucatan knot. That's my go to knot and it's quicker than the Albright.
Why yes I do... I can demo that one in another video and explain what it's used for.... thanks for the idea 😁

Thank you! Ffs why was so difficult for all the other videos to show
I don't understand how you all work with such small lines. I can't do any of them.
Don't do like I do and cut the wrong line when removing the tag ends.
Me too periodically 😆😆😆
