Im so glad i found this guitar review. I found one of these for sale. After watching you , im going to buy it. Thank you so much for sharing this video Sir.. and your guitar playing is awesome.. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching glad I can help this washburn is a decent guitar I'm sure if I swap out the pickups with a better quality will make this guitar killer
That was awesome Bro! as soon said my name you Ripped it Up! l like cool guitar l had one like it but different pickups USA Washburn same shape but it was baby blue l painted it black and kinda ruined it.
mid to late 80s low end guitars like that had bad frets. I have a 1985 guild warrior I had to refret a year after I bought it new.The pickups in it were shit too. I replaced those w/ a bill lawrence and seymour duncan. The locking trem on it was garbage. I swapped it out with a kahler pro trem. I also had both pots replaced as well. I originally pay $350 for the guild. It was only playable after I put in another $400 into it. I wouldve been better off spending a couple hundred bucks more for a middle of the road Kramer or the like, or maybe a used gibson. Live and learn.
adam schweigert yeah that's what I thought I had a Washburn GV5 very similar guitar made in 87 and you could just string it through the tube and no need to cut the end of the strings I thought it was great from what I experienced I am thinking of buying one of these because I longer have the g5v Washburn wish I didn't sell it still got yours?

Nice Washburn for that price. A little TLC and now you have a good playing guitar with a Floyd Rose.
Dale Palmer thanks it needed a good cleaning on the pots and switch and the frets needed attention they were worn-out
Nice!
guitarstruggles thank you

dan beck thanks dan its a decent guitar for sure
Nice guitar you know when you re string it do you have to cut the string balls off or do they just go through the tubes.
Midnight Wine string balls get cut offf or you could leave on and string it through the tuning pegs

Midnight Wine yes still have i missed the Floyd tremolo so i came across this one for cheap so going to keep for awhile
adam schweigert it's brilliant the tremolo cause with the original Floyd rose don't you have to mess about and cut the string balls off
Midnight Wine no my friend has a Floyd and he strings it through the tuning pegs
AWESOME WASHBURN......I HAVE ONE OF THOSE GUITARS!!!!!!
thanks
