Glad it was restored, if someone one could just keep a roof on them they wouldn't crumble

Both of these houses are just beautiful and I’m so glad the first one was restored but, I just loved the second one. The eyebrow window and the roof line were fantastic! I sure hope this house is as fortunate as the first one.

These are beautiful properties. The only problem is they’re in such bad shape that even if they were to give you the building, it would be a major, major financial investment to restore them.

The second one oh my word. That old mint green stove is beautiful. And that silver Christmas tree. My Grandmother had one. She also had the circle spinning light that made the tree to appear to change colors. What memories. Thanks for the wonderful video.

This house is way to beautiful to have let it come into disrepair, there is a lot of contents in the house that could be sold to repair the roof, is which is why this house is in this state, snd a lot could be donated to ppl with out, or libraries, or musems. Which in turn could lead to blessing! Its sad to see everything just get ruined. But i love this house, thanks for sharing.

If I may, let me presume to tell you why from my experiance. The house is owned by someone rich or famous and when it is no longer lived in or wanted, who ever owns it, thinks it worth far more then it was!!! So no one else can afford to buy it,😮😢 then it sits and falls down!! We bought a house in LaHarpe, Il. in 2015, That was built between 1873-1875. It had been remodled several times over the years, In 1960 it was turned into 4 apartments, then in 1999, back to a single house of 14 rooms and 4 baths. Then the family moved out of state. Rented it for a time, sold it 2 times on land contract. No one in the area wanted it because it was so huge and run down!! The owner was so tired of dealing with it, he dpld it to us for $4000. We remolded it and resold it for $44,000. Not much profit! But!! Had the owner not decoded tp just unload it, it might still be sitting empty and falling down!!! Thats what happens to those old homes, 😢😢😢😢
