A company which cannot even provide basic functionality (calling feature in mobile phone!) will not reach till Flagship stage. Lot of people are facing issues with basic functionalities. It's just a matter of time, people will stop buying this brand sooner rather than later.
I recently upgraded from my 6 years old iPhone X to this phone. Man the difference is crazy. As a person who loves minimalistic icon design, i love this phone so much. Slick icon designs, great and convenient shortcuts and also brilliant battery life. I can also play any top games with ease without overheating. The only downside of this phone is camera. I don't think the cameras are as natural as the iPhone. Other than that, this is a brilliant all round phone so far. The price that you paid for this phone is worth every penny.
@@argo12888gb is enough..but it requires the software to be optimized well enough..probably not a problem for nothing since it well specialized is software optimization..better go for 12gb as sometimes even if the software got a problem with optimization..especially during software updates..the amount of RAM will make up for it temporarily..so the software experience still doesn't suffer much..
One thing that should be included in phone tech reviews is the performance of video calls - does battery heat , and screen recording or even screen recording and having face cam on .

For the COD mobile, yeah ez pz you can play 3hrs+ at 60fps at around 37-39° without throttling

With Nothing OS 3.0 (Running the beta) the camera that felt somewhat slow has been improved on greatly. All in all it delivers a solid experience for all things i do on a phone. I have zero insight when it comes to gaming on it if that is something you do.

July 11, 2024: This may sound like a silly/trivial request...but could you PLEASE TEST this phone and prove that it "will indeed" do a simple "screen-mirror"/Miracast/Smart-view etc to a "FireTV" or other streaming device WIRELESSLY WITH AUDIO? The reason I ask is I recently purchased a Samsung A05 thinking it would be GREAT for loading up my movies/videos/pics and "casting" to a "LCD projector" for camping with the kids or just late-nite outdoor "casting"... Samsung DROPPED THE BALL with the A05 as it will simply NOT "smart view"/"cast" to ANY device on my wifi network! This is something that has been available and come to be known as STANDARD FEATURE but the new A05/Android 14 has "stripped" this feature! What a waste of money hoping I could use that cheap phone for that purpose! My OLD samsung s10+ and even newer(last year) tablet (A8) can "cast" and the A0% i just bought is a piece of junk! (I also dare you to buy a cheap A05 and TRY to get "casting/screen-mirroring" to work AT ALL!)
I gave mine to a friend as it started to accumulate dust in the lense. It's not good enough seeing as my budget moto and Samsungs haven't had this issue. Apart from that, the phone was stable and i like nothings philosophy compared to other brands.

These phones have a serious problem with touch. In my old Oppo, I can scroll through lists in any application even with my fingernail alone.... Here, the slightest contact of the fingernail with the screen, when scrolling, even at an angle (and it's a wide smartphone), causes a click and not a scroll. There are already posts about this on the forums, unfortunately. After 15 minutes with the phone, I already knew that something was wrong with the touch.
I like the Nothing Phone 2a but has some cons. The body is IP54 rated. The back finish though is not my taste, the flat display is great, battery life is excellent, but no charger in the box. The camera set-up is best in the class since most midranges have okayish ultawide cam or sometimes mediocre uw cam. But with unfinished software.
1. you can have trash IP68 (hey S20FE) if the implementation are bad so it doesn't matter that it's IP54. 2. Samsung doesn't put charger in the box too and the charge is just absolutely too SLOW 3. Software...haha...One UI is clearly not better since it draw the battery by a LOT compared to the light Nothing OS, Nothing is not perfect but Samsung is absolutely not perfect.

Depends on your use tbh I'll choose Poco X6 pro too for gaming. Specially for emulation gaming X6 pro is the Champ!! But as a Xaomi user myself rn. I'm starting to get tired because of the lack luster software support. Always there's an issue whether its cellular reception, volume bugging, dead boot (my friend actually experienced this). I'm willing to give Nothing a try and maybe in the next 5 years i can give you a proper feedback.

This phone is mediocre and the performance is inconsistent. It struggles to open apps and animations can hang up often. I hope they can solve these issues with future updates. So far, updates have not made any major improvements.

I recently bought a camera protector from GadgetShieldz to keep it safe and scratch-free, and I'm loving how it fits perfectly without affecting the photo quality. Highly recommend both the phone and the protector! 📸👍

They have software optimization to have basically the same / exact raw speed of UFS during day of use, they explain that on their channel.
yep opening apps also affected. basically anything that is stored on the phone is affected by ufs 2.2 not just transferring files. @@glenn.c
